I won't be going to the TEAs this year. I have never gone. Traditionally the trans side of the industry treats me worse than the straight side. And seeing how I was treated at the AVN awards I have no reason to expect anything but getting treated like garbage at the TEAs. Grooby also has treated me like garbage historically. Steven saw me at AVNs and talked about putting me on the site. He tweeted about it, and really got my hopes up that they would. I was shocked he was being so nice to me. It meant alot. They don't ask me to work often because I won't play with my penis. I spent $150 out of my own pocket on a talent test because I was told by the male talent I had a scene with him for Radius Dark, Grooby's photographer in LV. When I finally got ahold of radius he told me "No we are shooting another model, and if there is time after and the male talent is cool with it we can shoot you after her." I have the texts from that conversation to prove it. So why would I fly or drive all the way to LA, know I'm not going to get booked for any shoots, stay in an air bnb or hotel room all out of my own pocket. Then go to an award show where I am only nominated for "best internet personality" despite how hard I work on my body and my brand, lose that category like I lost it last year after almost getting murdered, and then get shunned by everyone and not invited to industry parties. I can feel bad about myself at home for free thank you very much.
