So Iโm moving, again... and I took a dance break ๐ค Expressing myself through dance (music in general) is one of my best stress resolutions. Dancing and singing are one in the same.. You need to stay on beat. A beat can be half a beat, a quarter of a beat or direct (Direct is the most common expectation.. those are on count, not in between) the count is usually 1 and 2 and 3 and 4, 5, 6, 7 8 then repeat ๐ just like the the verses in a song... (8 counts, usually) you should always HIT on an even count, then explore half or after counts counts.l to give it uniqueness. That's how must productions are created.. On the even count at the very start of a song.
