Queendom of Podia
“Any officer who goes into action without a sword is improperly dressed.” Finale.
With renewed determination, our dear Captain and his band make their way down the path in the grass. Attempting to estimate how many people there may be within the bandit group by the path. As they continue on, some soldiers worried about the coming engagement find courage in marching worship of the Queen. Leaving behind their mark as they march along.
A couple of hours into the march they begin to see smoke. Our Captain halting the group, devises a plan to surround the camp. With their plan carefully considered, the group fans out around the camp and wait for the cover of night to make their move. Our beloved Queen's men and women pass the time by exchanging photos of various Queens feet and silently worship in their stealthy positions. Leaving wet, white worship puddles.
Once nightfall comes, every soldier knows exactly what to do. Meticulous planning by our Captain pays off. As most of the camp is silently captured. All seems well until one, then two, then four screams back to back! Moving toward that direction a long shoeless silhouette can be seen running away. His soldiers being the priority, as well as the possibility the route shes taken is trapped. The Captain decides it's best to call this a win, after counting the liberated prisoners and the dead eyes of the footwashed bandits, not a single drop of red spilled today, only white.
The 4 soldiers who unfortunately encountered the barefoot bandit have stained uniforms and are exhausted. Our Captain comes to check on them, asking:
What happened? to which the senior solder replies: "She's got our majesties scent, sir." falling back to sleep shortly after from exhaustion.
Our Captain walks about the camp, carefully watching the tree lines as everyone prepares to bed for the night. The occasional "Your Majesty!" heard moaned out. Returning to his tent, he pulls out his one of a kind photo and quickly finishes before drifting off to sleep. As he will have to rise before the sun to get these people back and get his soldiers home before the next night.
In his mind before falling to sleep, he cannot think of who this barefoot bandit could be. Or how she managed to attain the scent of The Queen, as the socks used in training are closely guarded.
Our beloved Captains final thought before drifting to sleep: "Oh well, that's not my problem. The PIA will surely take over."
