I got to the Seattle airport at 4:00am, I've never seen an airport that packed. Storms in the midwest caused sweeping flight cancellations and delays. I stood (and sat) in hours-long lines to talk to rebooking agents, get through security, talk to rental car places at the layover airport, and then, ultimately (and honestly, while crying) to ask Delta to fly me home. Both my husband and Private Society texted me multiple times throughout the day "It's okay for you to cancel". But I'm a stubborn whore 😉 At least I know I tried my best. I saw the Minneapolis airport but never made it to Des Moines and ended up back home in Seattle at 11:00pm. What I can say of this absurd day - Mad Max: Fury Road style trip, going far away just to come back 😅 - is that I had an unusual amount of time to think and journal without interruption. My life is busy and surrounded by people, in a way that feeds the soul of an extrovert like me. I don't normally spend a whole lot of quiet introspection time - heyyy introverts, respect to your superpowers. I learned a lot about myself and what I want to do from a full day of reflection. So universe, I bow to your higher plan. More good to come ❤️
