🕑 Added 2022-05-16 12:44:37 +0000 UTC (Fictional Story.... duh!) ⬇️ I went to bed one night 🛌🏼🌙 Next thing i knew, I was traveling through some kind of wormhole 🕳 It felt like I was going 100,000 miles/second⚡ I held onto my bed as tight as I could, from the fear of falling off... or at least I thought it was my bed🤔💭 I didn't really get the chance to look at it properly while flying in (what seemed like) the speed of light, but that bed was the only thing around me that made me feel safe in that moment. I was like a cнild, hiding from the monster in my closet under the covers, but I was too frightened to feel embarrassed at the time🙈 It all happened so fast, and finally I had reached a stop🛑 I was now floating in space🌌 or something that looked like space... Luckily, I had no trouble breathing... Maybe it was an alternate dimension...? I don't know... but at least now I had the courage to sit up and look around 👀 I started by inspecting the bed, and just as I thought, it was mine. My comfy white sheets and fluffy pillows... even my prescription glasses at the edge of my bed, just between the bed and the mirror behind it, where I usually keep them 👓 I felt some form of safety from the familiarity😌 even though I had no idea where I was or how I got there. Was it a dream? It couldn't be... It felt too real... Then I noticed the mirror...🪞it looked just like my own mirror, but different. It wasn't complete. My mirror is as big as the wall it rests on, but this one was just a small part of it. And it didn't have a frame...🔲 it was small and incomplete, but somehow endless. It was partially bright with a dark tint... just like the mirror I knew from home. Home sweet home 🏠 where did you go? Where did I go?🥺 I felt an enormous source of energy coming from that mirror💥 I was skeptical to look at the reflection, but it was calling to me in a way I couldn't resist... like a sirens call 🗣🎶🎶 Something told me it was a bad idea to look straight at it, but its call was too strong for me to resist, no matter how hard I tried. It was pulling me in... hard and fast. Eventually I took a peek, and saw my reflection🤼🏼♀️ That's when I noticed her... she looked just like me, but somehow I knew it wasn't me. No... this was something else... her sinister smile told me she couldn't be trusted and that I should look away, but I couldn't. I was too curious. Maybe she could give me some answers on how to get back home. Back to my own room. Back to my own world 🌎 my own universe... My parents always said my curiosity would be the death of me one day🪦 and for the first time ever, I felt like they could be right. Mom and dad... I miss you... I'm sorry for being such a pain in the ass! I just wanna go back home😭 As I looked in the mirror, I saw something manifesting around me... or her... whoever she was... whatever she was... I looked harder and closer, and that's when I realized the manifestation starting before my eyes was my room😱 I immediately looked around me to see if the same thing was happening on my side of the mirror. Was I finally going back home?😁👏👏 No... that tiny shred of hope I had quickly disappeared...😞 I finally worked up the courage to ask "what the fuck is going on?!?!" The woman (or whatever she was) on the other side just laughed viciously. "Hahahahaha😆 Thank you for setting me free, yоung one. I've waited for this moment since the beginning of time!" 😈 she said before she vanished along with the mirror. It was just me and my bed now. Where did she go? I kept calling out for help even though I knew deep inside that no one would hear me 😫🗯‼️ Eventually I stopped yelling hysterically at the direction the mirror was in, and sat down with my head in my knees🙇🏼♀️ I shed a few tears on my legs before looking back up again... I kept telling myself that it was just a dream and that I would wake up any second now... but it wasn't a dream and I knew it😒 I looked back up. I looked all around. Where am I? In space? In Hell? Some kind of mirror dimension? What happened? How? Why? Why now? Why me? Is it because she looks identical to me? Is she in my world, living my life? Did she steal my life? Am I stuck here forever? Will I ever get back home, or am I doomed to float through this endless space until the end of time? Is this even part of time and space? Can I even survive here? What the fuck do I do⁉️ I had so many questions running through my mind all at once🤯 but I knew nobody was coming to answer them anytime soon... This story was inspired by the photo, and vice versa. It started by me asking Pavel ( @spartacus20xx ) what kind of background i should fuse my picture with. He said "space". It wasn't supposed to come with a story, but as I was fusing it, I started seeing a plot in my mind that I thought was worth evolving. I decided to leave part of the mirror in the picture as I was coming up with the story, because it seemed to fit right in. Pavel told me to remove my reflection, but I replied "nah I'm keeping it. I'm working on something. You'll see soon enough. Trust me, you'll like it..." So he said "OK, you know what you're doing, I guess..."
