As a portrait artist, one of the most challenging aspects of conveying an expression is painting the eyes, Van Gogh suffered from deep And prolonged depression and you can see it plainly in all of his self portraits, I’ve done my best to capture that feeling here. Let me know if you see it and keep in mind depression is extremely debilitating and if you are suffering yourself I want to encourage you to seek help and know I am always here for you if you need to talk❤️
