These photos are from when I lived in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. They were taken by any roommate at the time. She was 19 and it was her first time away from home. She’d just finished s diploma in photography. She had never photographed a nude body before. She grew up in a very religious home. I think she’d also never met a woman comfortable and free about being nude and feeling good in her own skin. This shoot was an amazing collaboration for us both! I learned new ways and angles of shooting and playing with light. She learned to get out of her comfort zone. 💜
