So I preformed at my first open mic Friday night … it was so nerve wracking but I’ve been feeling super called to share my music. This is a poem about my father who suffers from addiction my entire life. As you know I’m building him a van to live in now and just giving “saving him” one last shot although he ultimately has to save himself. Do any of you guys have similar stories with people and addictions or maybe yourself? It’s a hard path, I hope this resonates with you ❤️✨
