🕑 Added 2021-02-26 17:26:56 +0000 UTC 🧫let’s 🧬talk 🔬some ⚗️science🥼doods🧪 hair growth. your hair grows in three different stages — anagen, catagen and telogen if you see hairs left behind after waxing, they are in the anagen stage. anagen is the active phase of the hair. the cells in the root of the hair are dividing super rapidly, man, and a new hair is formed and pushes the club hair (a hair that has stopped growing or is no longer in the anagen phase) up the follicle and eventually out. during this phase the hair grows about 1 cm every 28 days. in the beginning of this phase [on the Brazilian area], the hair is barely poking out of the surface of the skin and though I will tweeze to my discretion, the hair is too short for the wax to grip at this point. It will be picked up during your next appointment 3-5 weeks from then. eventually you and I will get a good understanding of how active your personal growth cycle is and will determine the best time for you to get waxed so that we have a minimum amount of hair left behind after your wax 👏🏼🖤
