Today’s lesson focuses on the Gorean slave position “Attention,” a fundamental stance of obedience, readiness, and respect. 🖤
This position can vary slightly depending on individual dynamics. In this variation, the arms are held delicately in front of the body, hands resting just above the thighs. It is a subtle and elegant way to convey submission. The feet are placed close together, creating a formal and controlled posture, while the straight back and raised chin signal confidence and respect for the one observing.
The “Attention” position serves as both a mental and physical exercise for a slave. It reinforces discipline, body awareness, and mindfulness. Standing perfectly still, maintaining poise, and focusing on being present in the moment help the slave channel their energy into service and obedience. For the Dominant, this position is a way to assert authority and visually take in their property’s readiness and composure.
In a session, “Attention” can serve as a moment of pause, a way to reset or establish dominance before transitioning into more intense play. Outside of scenes, it symbolizes the slave’s constant availability and readiness to serve. For Gorean dynamics or any D/s relationship, this posture can be an essential tool to build trust, deepen submission, and train both the mind and body.
Position training, such as practicing “Attention,” is about more than physical form. It is a mindset, one that embodies the slave’s devotion and unwavering willingness to serve. It is also a way for the Dominant to observe and fine-tune their slave’s posture, attitude, and demeanor. Even the smallest adjustments, like correcting a slump in the shoulders or lowering the gaze, can deepen the dynamic and create a stronger connection. 🖤✨
