Good Morning! Happy Goth Day, and Buy a Musical Instrument Day! Monday, May 22, 2023

Hope you had such a good weekend, and are ready to start off your week. Don't mind me losing my voice for a few moments this morning. I am sure to have tea and honey and lemon soon 🤭
I had a great weekend with some friends. The weather held out nicely yesterday for some fun outside which was great. I also played around with my new (old) Rollei 35mm film camera this weekend which was cool. I'm excited to finish up the roll of film and seeing how some of the shots came out!
Anyways, hope you have a motivated Monday, and be so well this week! More later, and tell me about your instruments!
Love,
Smutty 🖤💝🖤

I have this suspicion you and I are similar in a lot of ways 🤭 All the noise making items! 🤩

Lol...I'm laughing at the carry a tune in a bucket 😂 Maracas it is! Omg I had to look up Shekere and now I have a want 🤣 They are pretty too! 😍 Cabasa is one I've thought of too. I just like making noise.

Gotta love goth dom/mes 🖤 But no, I have no musical ability. I can't keep a rhythm with escrima sticks (and used to have the bruises to prove it). I couldn't hit a pitch if you nailed it to the broad side of a barn, or carry a tune if you put it in a bucket. I do, however, have decent google-fu so... Maracas? Shekere? Cabasa?
You have made me realize I am more of a musical instrument hoarder than I thought. I have a trumpet, bugle, 6 and 12 string guitar, keyboard, harmonica, and a thumb piano that is at my parents place. I also have a few saved wine bottles that you can definitely blow a tune on. 😅 I’ve never used a Rollie before I believe a friend from college had a compact version. (but I’m not sure) Hope it’s awesome! Have a great day and start to your week!
