Health Updates: What the butts 🍑

This week has honestly been such a dumpster fire for my health and I truly do not have a good explanation, but I am pretty glad I had the week off of streams 😅
My week off started with two very exciting visits: BurgerBoi and Mama HK visited from the Thursday - Saturday, and Waltermellin stopped through on his way to Toronto on the Friday. Which was FANTASTIC and so fun to spend some time together and a great excuse to get lots of yummy food 🤤
Unfortunately for me, though, being out and about and eating lots of yummy foods are two things that have a tendency to wreak havoc on my body 😅🫠 So my body hurt and I got a migraine, as is usual for me being out...or honestly just upright for too long 😅. But also, I was recently diagnosed with IBS. And multiple days of yummy food (let's not forget Thanksgiving was also this past Monday 🙈) had my insides screaaaaaaaming at me all week. My abdomen has stabbed me so much, I'm starting to think it's trying to give Myrna a run for her money 😅😬
Also, I had physio again today, and honestly, the hand/wrist stuff might be the most painful thing I've been to physio for aside from displaced ribs 💀.
So I feel like the past week has just been a kind of hell week for all my muscles, tendons, joints, and organs...all the internal stuff 😅
Which maybe might explain the extreme level of fatigue I've been experiencing the past few days. I definitely was already feeling pretty exhausted before the start of my break, but myyyyyy goodness my body has been through a lot. And the fatigue has made it near impossible to get through a day without napping at least once, even though I don't end up feeling any more rested anyway 🫠
On the bright side: that means I am definitely getting more rest since Tuesday! And today, while I am feeling pretty run down and drained for a number of reasons, I have actually felt a little more rested and a little less fatigued (I haven't even napped yet today!) 🥳
Hopefully that means I'll be feeling energized and good to go by tomorrow's stream! 🤞

Welcome officially to the IBS club. We don't have badges, but we carry Tums. That's another problem for me where I'm sure I had it my whole life, but I didn't get a diagnoses until my 30s. Digestive problems weren't high on the list of things to complain about when I saw a doctor, until I started getting ulcers from NSAIDs. It has slowly become worse with age. It used to be specific foods made me gassy, etc. Now I can skip meals and I still have a problem. Just leaning over so my abdomen gets compressed, and I may start burping. 😅 What did one burp say to the other? Lets go out the back door. 😇
