Like DC I voted for the red headed stepchild topic. I know nothing about the subject, but I do admire persistence and feel it should be rewarded.

I like the use of escapades, that's going to be a great story!

I'm pulling for Admiral Yi! The greatest naval commander in history deserves to be better known
Wyoming Iceberg
Oy! Tough choices this month! Usually, one stands out... this time, I have three or more picks.
Allen Parmet
If you find yourself back here, let me know and I'll provide a guided tour. Same for any other Drach-niac's!
Sylderon Machine Works
My dad and I took the train from Chicago to Kansas City a few years ago and went through the place, very interesting. Lovely view from the top of the memorial.

I work at the US National World War I Museum and Memorial. Railway gun!

I am curious about United States Navy personnel other than medics that served as combat troops in the Pacific during WWII. Also the inception and use of Frogmen in the Pacific since it seems like they are vastly overlooked as compared to the Italian and Japanese. Thanks Drach, keep up the good work as always
Bill Jarett
All excellent choices!
Hans Peter Bak
This is not fair! I want to watch them all. *pouts* .... I have voted though.
Alan Perry
I am surprised to see what I selected had the most votes. But I will (eventually) watch whatever video Drach does.

I agree, it is the kid never picked for the football team. The logistics of getting them over to Europe, different gauge tracks, all before they even fired a shot…
Yokosuka Girls Marine High School Training Vessel Harekaze
I'd love to see your reading/take on the scuttling of the HSF
Bill Brockman
I hope the railway gun one finally breaks through. I love some of the others too, but later.

My Great Great Grandfather was a shipwright in St Helier on the isle of Jersey. He immigrated to the USA shortly after the US Civil War, responding to advertisements for master carpenters & other trades. My guess is that he saw the writing on the wharf regarding Iron ships and the demise of traditional wooden sailing vessels.

Would love to see a video on damage control during the age of sail! I've often thought about it but have yet to read or research it on my own.

I want them alllllllllll
