00:39:55 - Launching ships from sheds?
00:43:38 - Why were the Abercrombie class torpedo defence bulges open to the sea?
00:48:51 - What damage could a strafing run do to a destroyer?
00:55:45 - What time (local, UTC, time in their home port, etc.) did ships in the WWI and WWII use to record battle events etc. in their logbooks, and does this ever cause problems or annoyance for historians?
01:02:15 - Senior Enlisted posts at high echelons?
01:05:58 - Assuming the UK had been forced to bow out or heavily restrict its warlike actions due to the u boat threat during 1917, could the US and French have put together enough forces to continue to enforce the blockade on Germany?
01:08:56 - Would it have been feasible for medium or heavy bombers be fitted with torpedoes for attacks against ships compared to level bombing that was used?

The US military has historically extended the noncommissioned chain of command higher than many contemporary military organizations. This is in keeping with our ethos of the US military being comprised of citizen soldiers but it was also because during the American Revolution high level NCO proved that they could be trusted when General Benedict Arnold proved he could not be. You were a stones throw away from one of three a very rare tangible artifacts of that trust when you visited the USS Slater https://www.nysm.nysed.gov/exhibitions/fidelity-medal

The european times were before 1893 even more different. On the rather small Lake Constance there were 5 diffetent times. The Swiss used Berne time, Baden Karlsruhe time, Württemberg Stuttgart time, Bavaria Munich time and Austria Prague Time. 28min max difference between Berne and Prague and 3min minimum difference from Karlsruhe to Stuttgart. So it was a nightmare for the Paddlesteamer schedulers.
