sandals is my option when needed, otherwise barefoot.

I agree, I prefer to wear something on my feet if itβs rural, usually flip-flops as opposed to actual shoes.

I totally agree! Being barefoot feels great on grass or sand, but when it's rocky or there might be critters around, flip-flops are definitely the way to go. Itβs all about comfort and being practical for the situation!

All depends on the location. Grassy area or sand? Barefoot. Rocky or an area where there may be critters? Shoes - but usually flipflops - not full on shoes.

I've done both. I do live in the desert with cacti everywhere, so that can dictate my choice.
