BAD LUCK
🕑 Added 2024-06-01 04:07:01 +0000 UTCWhat little luck I've had in life seemed to run out this month. I made a big leap, spent time and money fixing my camper and my truck, packed my things and headed west for Colorado to be closer to a couple friends I have, and start a new life.
I drove my truck with my close friend driving my car in caravan. My truck broke down in Kentucky. I had to abandon it at a small shop along with the camper that's been home for 2 years. I loaded up my few possessions from the camper into a Uhaul and made my way to Colorado minus my home and my truck. Upon arriving in Colorado the clutch and throwout bearing started going out in my car. I had a mental break down in the Rockies after dropping off my friend who drove across the country with me. The car barely made it to a repair shop that gouged me hard. In hindsight I should have shopped around but in my state of mind I was desperate for a win. At least having a vehicle would mean I had something left. I've spent the last week staying with a friend and trying to sort out the new mess I've made. I'm now broke from spending money on necessities to move, a Uhaul, a new clutch assembly, and working from sun up to sun down on the camper and truck left me exhausted and too tired to work on art for you all.
The silver lining: I'm happy to be here. I'm motivated to work. I'm around people that enjoy my company, understand me, and there are new opportunities for me in life beyond just working and surviving. I sat down last night with the first real opportunity to focus on working and knocked out some comic page sketches to continue the Amunet's Worship comic. I think you'll like the turn it takes.
I'll be posting them shortly as charged posts. And finishing them over the next week while I continue to get settled in and acclimated. Work on the Club Bounce story has stalled slightly. The writer for it wants to impress so I'm letting her take her time with it until she's happy.
Thank you for your patience while my life is undergoing maintenance.

Once I realized that referring to my living circumstances as good or bad "luck" made me a victim, I stopped. Obstacles will come and they never come alone but we have the choice to overcome them. And it seems you over came yours. Your story ended positively, yet you still chose to tittle it "Bad Luck" you're the only one who dictates whether you're a victim to your own life. Hope you keep pushing through with a more positive mindset.

Dude, unlike other artists who charge monthly regardless of content, Pit charges per content. This is the fairest way to sub in my opinion and means if he doesn't have time to create content, then there is no obligation, no stress, and no one is scammed out of their money. Drop the dickhead attitude.
