Modding Diary - Milk Pumping Animation

Hi guys! I hope you all had a fantastic week!
Good news this week:
- Buzzfeed made an article and apparently Keke Palmer plays with my mods?? 😳😳https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/kelseyweekman/keke-palmer-sims-childbirth-simulator-metaverse some of you might know Keke is a huge sims4 player, but never in a billion years did I see this coming
- The Ultrasound Update went public and now can be downloaded by everyone!

Bad news this week:
- Google chrome seems to really dislike my website and keeps causing connection errors D:
Now lets talk about milk pumping! This week I was able to complete 90% of the pumping animation which is pretty good considering I spent most of the week stressing about my website and wondering why it wont connect for some people
Please keep in mind this is a work in progress, and there is no facial animation yet so you will see my sim staring in to the abyss while sitting in the air the whole time, she is also wearing bras but that will be removed.
sims can be seen holding out the pumping bottle with one hand the grabbing their breast with the other hand
and they secure the pump onto their breast
and start squeezing
you can't tell from the pictures but the pump does move
sims can sometimes be seen looking
or taking a deep breath
when they are done they will get a bottle of milk
and they will take a look to see how much milk they got
then they will go back to the sitting position
Next week I am going to work on the facial animations, and hopefully the facial animation will change depending on what mood your sim is in.
I will also need to mirror the animation so that it works for the other breast as well.
Here is what I have in mind in terms of lactation:
Sims should have different levels of milk supply, perhaps those with trouble lactating can try massaging or pumping more often to make up for the low supply.
sims with a normal or high milk supply will get uncomfortable if they haven't pumped in a while.
If a sim wants to stop lactating they can either take supplements or drink certain herbal teas to make it stop, or if they dont pump for long enough it will just stop naturally, but i heard that could cause health problems so still need to do more research.
what are some of the things you want to see in terms of lactation? Please leave a comment below! I know I dont reply to every single comment but I do read them all! Your comments have always been very helpful because there's only so much I can learn by reading online.

Will infants be able to drink the milk too or just babies and toddlers

if possible, could there be more than one bottle that comes from the session if the mother's milk supply is high? will there be a breastfeeding animation for toddlers? and will there be moodlets based on the lactation level while breastfeeding?
whens this coming out please xxx

Yes! It could also read as sour or tainted if the milk shows up in the inventory.

Hi, I just had a thought, how about a pregnancy pillow? There could be diff positions to lay on it and stuff like that. Just figured that’d be cute, and add some more realism. Your mod is my favorite honestly.

In addition to the pumping animation, it would be nice if our sims could warm up the bottles in different ways (i.e. placing the bottle in warm water or in one of those bottle-warming machines). It would be cool if we had insulated bottle bags to keep the bottle warm/fresh and if our sims have to check the bottle temperature before giving the bottle to the baby/toddler. Washing/Sterilising bottles would be cool as well (maybe our simshave to buy a supply of bottles before we have the bottle options and bottles run out if not cleaned.) Lastly, if our sims are unable to pump it would be nice if we could make bottles with actual animations of them scooping formula etc. and if there were different formula options which we may have to choose due to the baby having allergies. Also, it would be good if there's the chance of breastfed babies refusing bottles.

it would be nice to add an option to the babies where you can bottle feed with breast milk. I always have my sim breast feed because bottle feed seems like it's probably formula. It would be nice to give your sim the option to bottle feed with formula or bottle feed with breast milk, or mayber after your sim pumps the collect milk will be in their invetory in a bottle to bottle feed baby.

I would even say if its possible that if a Sim does drink alcohol that they wouldnt be able to pump ( maybe a timed moodlet ) or they have to pump and dump and maybe a moodlet based off of a waste of supply of " perfectly good breastmilk".
