Modding Diary- Crashing investigation and Next Steps

Hi guys! I hope you all are enjoying the ultrasound update.
The ultrasound update now has German, Italian, French, Brazilian and Spanish translations.
Im am now brainstorming what I should add in the next update for the child birth mod.
Here are some of the suggestions I have got:
1) More birth animations including a non-romantic animation for bed birth.
I could explore the possibilities of adding more birth positions, and add a non romantic version of the bed birth animation.
2)Breastfeeding/nursing
I could add animations for more realistic breastfeeding and milk pumping. However I think I should wait till the infant patch to drop before I do anything, because the infant patch will either make it a lot harder or a lot easier. But please still let me know if this is something you are interested in.
3)More Early Pregnancy Interactions
I had a lot of fun making the "nap together" and "bed cuddle" interactions and I would love to make more. Perhaps an interaction that allows the pregnant sim and their partner to read to their unborn child? I also saw this on twitter earlier that I thought was very cute, an interaction that allows sims to play guitar for their families (the pictures on twitter are just poses).
4) Animation for multiples during home birth
Im not gonna lie I did not enjoy making the hospital birth animation for multiples but I will do it if that's what you guys want lol
5)Enabling the child birth animation for the doctors career
So that you can deliver babies through C-section or natural birth instead of using the surgery machine
6) occult birth???
birth animation that’s unique to each occult, for example mermaids will give birth in the water(although Tim not sure where the baby is gonna come out of ._.), werewolves will give birth on all fours while growling or something lol

As some of you might know I have been trying to look into a potential issue of the child birth mod that's causing the game to crash on some players game.
Sadly I have not been able to pin down what is causing it and I have not been able to re-create the crash no matter what I do. I created a poll at the end of this post and Im hoping you guys could help me figure out the scope of the issue and maybe I will be able to see a pattern that will help me to identify the cause.
in the meantime it is recommended that you save frequently when you are at the hospital in case a crash happens.

It might have something to do with the fact you went to the hospital, went back home, then went back to the hospital again. You should try just sticking to one birth method next time. If the dilation is taken too long you can always use the give birth immediately cheat. This is my first time ever using this mod, and it was my first birthing experience. I originally started in the hospital, when i noticed it was taking my sis awhile to dilate I went back home and instead tried to do a home birth, however I could not interact with the birthing tub, so I decided to "have baby at hospital" when I got to the hospital it took another 2 days for her to dilate and when she was finally ready the surgical machine switched to a OB bed, but then my sim froze stuck beside the bed, and wouldn't perform any other interaction. None of the OB's were present in the room at the time. I honestly just decided to quit since I hadn't saved the game once she became pregnant. I also have the most recent version of the mod.

It’s not possible for dilation tor ale more than 2 days to reach max, unless you: are using an outdated version of the child birth mod and left the lot or save and quit the game or used the remove dilation cheat at any point. What do you mean by “none of the doctors would assist”?
My sim would not give birth, it took her her 3 days to dilate, even with taking walks and using the birthing ball. When she finally reached 10cm, she was able to give birth, she was unable to have the baby, none of the doctors would assist.

Which version are you referring to as the new version?
It has crashed twice with the new version trying to do a home birth.

ive only crashed once during birth at hosp. (vaginal)
I got the new version and the start home birth option isn’t there.
mine happens when i arrive at the hospital some of the time

maybe something to do with younger kids and toddlers maybe have them talk to the belly play cuddle maybe a gender revel party baby party
The only time I got the crash was after my sim got the ultrasound done and I went to travel back home and that’s when it crashed.
