Modding Diary - Ultrasound Scan

Hi guys! hope you all are well!
This week I finalized the Ultrasound Scan Animation, and I added the ultrasound video to the ultrasound machine. Here is what the animation looks like:π₯°
sims will get on the exam bed as usual
the screen will change into ultrasound mode
the doctor will talk for a little bit
and start performing the ultrasound
the ultrasound footage will begin to appear on the screen, but its very dark and blurry at first
the doctor will tap on their keyboard
and a clearer footage appears on the screen
the doctor will point out the baby
and the pregnant sim is amazed by what she sees
the doctor will talk to the pregnant sim
and explain the ultrasound
and they will talk for a little more after the scan is finished
and that is the whole interaction. I know I said I would get started on the animation for the companion sim but I couldn't make it happen this week because this animation turned out longer than I expected (61 seconds in total) D : π₯
Figuring out how to add videos to the ultrasound machine was also a little bit of a learning curve and the process was pretty hideous. I had to convert the video 3 times using 3 different programs to make it compatible with the game because the game uses a video format named .vp6 which is something i've never heard of until now. π³
Next week I will for sure get started on the companion animation and start adding moodlets into the interactions!

All seriousness all my female sims are having an AT-Home water birth. I hated going to the hospital. Now in the comfort of their home they can eat shower, use the yoga ball and have their birth calmly. Your birth mods have revolutionized the game.
