How to fix: Baby disappeard afte birth and is in the middle of nowhere when I click on their icon

My Sim’s baby is still in the middle of the ocean in Windenburg even after loading a new household 🙁

You have to go into a house you haven’t played before or it won’t work

The manage worlds thing didn't work for me, so I bulldozed the lot and put it back again, and it puts the baby in your inventory so you can place it wherever! Just thought I'd put this here in case other people got stuck 😅

remove the birth pillows and put them on only when your sim is ready to give birth

Yes but I'm also using the legacy version of the Sims 4 do u think that's the problem?

It sounds like you have the mods installed correctly so that’s good. You can either try removing other mods and leaving just the child birth mod to see if it’s a mod conflict. Or describe exactly what isn’t working. For example “interaction cancels after they speak to eachother” “interaction is not there when I click on xyz”

I need help I'm not sure if i have to download both mods or not but i only have the early access mod installed and nothing is really working properly i had my teen sim pregnant and the baby bump wasn't showing at all until she was in labor but i just ignored that but as soon as she went into labor none of my sims were able to do anything like I couldn't have my sims partner give her a back massage and none of my sims are able to do anything and when I called the midwife it said she was on her way but never showed up I've tried "resetsim" and anything else i could think of but nothing was fixing this problem i can't even get my sims to take a bath or sleep and when i tried to use the give birth immediately it doesn't work.

that's weird for me i just needed to select an unplayed household and then switch to my current one and the Baby was back

I moved the family to fix the prob, it was weird tho

When I tried to give birth in the hospital the beds and exam table keep disappearing

You will not be able to do the breathing exercises with the birth pillows on the bed. You will have to remove them, in order to do that. Once you feel your sim is about ready to give birth, then purchase the pillows to place on the bed, and then should work fully from there. (just from me playing around with it, and reading about the birth pillows)

Absolutely amazing!! Unfortunately for some reason I wasn’t able to do breathing exercises on the bed. I had the pillows on the bed but a bubble appeared and it said she couldn’t get on the bed? I ended up doing the water birth. Thank you so much for an amazing mod x

There’s no option until your sim is fully dilated. And make sure to have a birth partner near by

mine has the pool and pillows but doesnt give the option to do those births :(

I was having a bad day. You really turned it around. Couldn't stop laughing from this title.

I'm also having a problem with the midwife. She disappeared overnight and the chat says that she is nearby but is nowhere to be found.

Ya a few others reported this issue. They are supposed to help around the house as a way to keep them busy but I will see if I can make the cook less next time!

Loving this update! The animations are amazing and it's adding a great depth to gameplay! One little thing I ran into: has anyone else run into an issue with the midwife cooking non-stop when not interacting with one of the household sims? She just kept going to the fridge and prepping food until she set the kitchen on fire! Once the fire was put out and she was extinguished she kept taking out more food after this as well and left unprepped food around the house! Other than this had no problems so far! <3

I had that problem at the hospital too. I changed the names back in CAS, but it's an odd glitch.

I just tried the manage world solution again but with a different family and now the Baby is back in the household. I guess when choosing a family you can't go into one that's marked as played. Thank you so much, this mod is just so beautiful and makes me actually want to play the sims again! <3

Maybe try restarting the game? I haven’t really ran into that before, they should always come back after reloading the household

Quick question, i just tested the Mod with my Legacy Family. The Baby spawed somewhere else than the prepared bassinet and after doing the whole "Manage World" thing, the Baby is just gone. The Icon is there but when i click on it nothing happens?

In my game my sim gave birth at home in water but once the babies spawned they had different names

She took the same amount she originally took. Dismissed her the first time and it was a little over 2k. She returned and dismissed her again and she took the exact same amount. Not sure if she would have come back to I locked the doors lol

So been playing for a few hours. Have only found two ‘glitches’ so far. First was with the bed birth. Sim gave birth with her husband no midwife on lot and after the birth the Moodlet ‘in labor’ did not go away and the red heart above her did not go away. Second was the pool birth. All went well until after the birth. The mid wife took her money and left then returned to the lot and had to dismiss her again. She took another large amount of money again lol. Besides that work well!! Enjoying the mod so far ❤️
