Modding Diary- Midwives added

This week I fixed the animation error mentioned in my last post, turns out it wasn't because the animation was too long, rather it was caused by the birth tub animation, to fix it I just got rid of the animation for the birth tub and adjusted the sims animation accordingly.
I also added the "Home Birth" option to the "call obstetrician" menu.
you sim will have the option "call midwife" on their phone when they are in labor
and midwives will appear at the door shortly
and they will help your sim to give birth
one issue I am currently experiencing is that the first baby will only spawn in the hospital bassinet
however if your sim gives birth to more than one baby the other ones will spawn in the regular bassinet, the image below shows what happened when my sim gave birth to twins
I know this is not ideal because the hospital bassinet doesnt look great, and it will also make the invisible cribs mod useless. so this is something I will need to fix next week.
I will also need to do some research on what early labor looks like when giving birth at home so that I can create some early labor interactions.

I cannot get the options to show up in my phone since the update where they re-did the phones.
Is this available yet? I didnt see the option to call midwife or home birth on my phone

Hi when I go to ask for a dilation check at the hospital the action cancels out every time, I took out the old mod is there any conflicting mods currently?

I am loving this!! Your animations and mods are amazing! I can't wait for the home birth when you have it ready. I do have one question, could you make it possible for us to designate the midwife role to a household sim or have them perform the midwife role in the animation rather than a randomly generated sim ? That would be so cool for a Decades Legacy. Or for instance, have the birthing sim's partner deliver the baby? I know some couples do this in home births.
Question, the animation is it going to be only for one baby or more?

The homebirth, is the pool the only option? I like to play the decades challenge and I don't think they had the pool in 1890. But otherwise, this is so incredible, and I am in awe of your talent and dedication to making this mod. Thank you so much.

I was thinking to make them coddle in the birth pool, but I can add bed cuddle in the future
So excited! Just a suggestion but what if for an early labor activity our sims could have a cuddle with partner in bed interaction? π
