Modding Diary - Water Birth

I officially started working the Home Birth update over a week ago, the Home birth update will add two new delivery method to the game, the first one being water birth in the birth pool and the second one being natural delivery on the bed. I wanted to make a modding diary post last Friday but at that time all I had accomplished was this:

however this week I was able to get started on the water birth animation. and here is what i have made so far:
your sim will change into their bathing suit before they get into the birth pool, this will be an item you can find in build and buy.
then the birth begins
your sim will try to push in various positions and finally give birth while kneeling. I want to use the kneeling position because based on my research it seems to be the most common position in water birth. Besides, they are always on their back when doing natural birth, I wanted to switch things up a little bit.
hopefully by next friday I will have most of the animations finished. It is unknown how long this update will take me at this point as it is still too early to tell, the initial child birth mod took me three and a half month but I expect this update to be quicker as I am a lot more experience than I was the first time around. Animations will still be time consuming but the tuning(coding) part should be fairly easy as I already have something to build off of.
once im finished with the birth animation I would like to add interactions that allow your sims to relax in the birth pool before they are fully dilated. If you have any suggestions please feel free to leave a comment below!

Love this! I would like the mom gone for 2 days (like rabbit hole vacation) and come back with a baby. Or maybe a shorter birth version option.

Maybe the Sims's partner could deliver the baby? Think it could be a cool story element if there was an option for this

I'm really excited for this! I play mostly historical saves so this is PERFECT. Will there be complications? I know... morbid. But, realistic game play makes for better stories. I currently play with adeepindigo's "healthcareredux" mod and she has a "Postpartum Hemorrhage after giving birth" death. Would you plan on doing anything like that, or work with her mod too? Sorry if that's a silly question.
