Sonya, Intro — $10 Release
🕑 Added 2024-08-04 18:35:17 +0000 UTCAfter putting weeks of work into untangling the mess that is our old code, many sleepless nights, and an unhealthy amount of consumed caffeine, we are finally happy to present — Sonya's rework! And alongside with it, numerous changes to the game, including a whole new roaming UI, updates to early-game questlines, and countless fixes. With this update, we are finally making our first step in a massive overhaul project, which we announced a while ago! The process has begun!
SONYA, REWORKED STORYLINE
Sonya was the very first character we have ever added into our game, which, just to remind you, was YEARS ago. And while we are incredibly proud of the progress we managed to make throughout that time, it also had an unfortunate side effect of making Sonya pale in comparison to any other content current available in the game. That wouldn't be an issue on its own, but given that her romantic plotline is heavily tied to the "tutorial" and many important unlocks, players were forced to experience this outdated story to be able to progress any further. So, as part of our efforts to overhaul every underperforming bit of our game, we decided to completely rewrite Sonya's route!
Given that her story holds a sentimental value both for us, and our player base, we did our absolute best to stay as close to her existing personality as we could. Instead of trying to reinvent the wheel, we expanded upon the qualities that Sonya been showing ever since we first introduced her, and kept the idea that she is fast to jump straight into action, be that a new adventure by your side, our something more intimate. She was always energetic and opportunistic, and now we finally gave her a chance to properly express those qualities in a way you would be able to appreciate them!
This Intro, while only giving you a taste of what's to come, is already bigger than the entirety of her old storyline. That being said, we know that you probably won't be satisfied with just the Intro! Which is why...
Sonya, Part One — Coming NEXT month!
We needed a bit more time to cook it through, especially with massive this story expansion already is. Thankfully, you won't have to wait long!
UPDATED USER INTERFACE AND PROLOGUE CHANGES
As we already mentioned, this update commemorates the beginning of Overhaul Project we announced a while ago. Every little piece of our game, that was either undercooked, or underperformed at what it was aiming to achieve - we are going to rework that. Starting with UI.
This new slick and sexy Interface resembles everything we want this game to be: Satisfying, good-looking, and finally in HIGH RESOLUTION! Every bit of it was meticulously crafted, tested and implemented in a way, that would make the process of clicking itself a pleasure! It might not seem like a big deal, but trust us when we say, having a responsive UI makes a huge difference.
On top of that, we went through and updated two major quests: Clyde's mini-quest, which unlocks an ability to make money by doing homework, and Reina's quest, which unlocks access to girls dorm. Both of those now feature much more in-character writing, and should now be harder to miss by accident.
Later on, we are planning to revisit the Prologue in its entirety and make sure it will finally serve the purpose of introducing new players to our game's universe, core cast of characters, main mechanics, and so on. We are also planning to go through the unlock requirements for every route in the game to make them a little more transparent. No more "survive the first week" kind of deal.
But all of those little adjustments pale in comparison with the massive improvements that are coming to the in-game world!
MAP OVERHAUL IS COMING!
We are not ready to give you any dates just yet, but we have finally started preparing the foundation for the biggest changes our game have seen to date, or probably will ever. After almost TWO YEARS of redrawing EVERY location from the scratch, we are finally done. The sheer level of detail and quality on those new background images is ABSURD and we cannot express just how proud we are with they way they turned out.
As soon as we are done updating UI, this will be our next major goal, and we can't wait to finally put those gorgeous background images to use!

Edit: Hotfix is available! Just redownload the game from our website and you should be good to go. We have fixed the problem with pool being inaccessible, Reina's X-Ray being blocked, and a number of minor issues/typos.

Thank you, because I’ve tried that and I finished her whole route, but it still never has let me xray her. I do t know if it was maybe a problem with me maybe using xray on her while she had that summer outfit on during the professor zhou route, it showed her sprite naked but when I clicked on her, nothing happened. It’s just that that’s one thing that came to mind when I think of things that may have caused it

Save files usually migrate between updates automatically, both on PC version and Android. You don't really have to do anything. Reina becomes available to X-Ray if you progress her route far enough, she drops a few hints that you will get a "mysterious" reward once you two become close enough. There might be a bug that causes the "glitches" in the X-Ray to persist even if you can use the X-Ray, so try clicking on the glitches with X-Ray active and see if it works. We will also look into fixing this bug in the upcoming update!

Really cool, but if I could ask, how can we keep our save file through the update? Also, how do you gain the ability to be able to use the xray on Reina?
