Sonya, Part Two — Public Release // Animations are back!
🕑 Added 2025-03-22 20:20:26 +0000 UTCThe best girls deserve the best updates.
To say that we went overboard with Sonya's story is to say nothing at all. Given the limitations we have to work around, this is without a doubt a huge jump for us, as developers, and probably the most successful twist on our usual formula we have done to date. While we might have not reinvented the genre, we certainly opened a door for more intricate stories to be introduced in the future. Never before had we dared to add branching paths into our game, and not because of laziness or time constrains alone, but because making multiple equally compelling stories is a huge undertaking, especially within a singular update. But as our team grew and we slowly accumulated more and more experience working as game developers, there couldn't be a better time to start introducing new ideas into the mix.
That's why we are incredibly proud to present Sonya's new update! Not only this is one of the largest story expansions our game had ever seen, it's also the very first non-linear story, where your past choices and route progression matters. On top of that, it features three unique h-scenes and brings back the animations! We've done everything we could've, and even some things we thought we couldn't, all the while we somehow managed to still maintain our monthly release schedule! And while it might still be far from what we consider to be an "ideal" update, we're slowly creeping towards this dream.
This time you will follow the protagonist through wild and uncharted land of "friendship with many benefits", or at least that's how Sonya refers to your unusual situationship. Each passing moment more and more questions will arise, bringing you closer to realization of the truth behind her true motives. It's not the kind of drama or mystery you're used to, it's something entirely new. Her problem is not a problem, this drama is not a drama, everything is whack and far off the norm. Your senses are tingling, but you can't quite put the finger on why exactly. Each step down this path raises new questions, but you can't help yourself but continue onward. After all, she's so hot!
So, without further ado...
Sonya, Part Two — Electric Boogaloo! It's finally here and it's literally better than ever! Don't waste a moment and jump straight into the world of wild student love!
An important note for those, who wants to see all possible interactions: This route is affected by whether or not you have already completed Yun's storyline. I would highly suggest playing through this story on a fresh save file, or on a save file where Yun's story is not yet completed, if you want to experience as much content as possible.
GRIND NEVER STOPS!
A massive update is well on its way, featuring an expanded storyline for Clyde, a huge party and hangover sequence, new and updated locations, Seraphina's redesign and an updated intro into her storyline, a completely new character, new quests and reworked final prologue mission.
Of all content releases we did in a past few months, this feels like the most "update-y" update of them all, properly expanding and improving as many things as we possibly could in a limited time frame we had to work with. This time we are laying the foundation for three separate storylines, which will slowly unravel as we go forward, allowing you to explore both existing and new friendships, rivalries, and romantic possibilities. And Seraphina, being the obvious star of the show (sorry Clyde) will soon get one of the most convoluted, mysterious, and unhinged routes I have personally written in a long while.
This, and probably more is coming April 3rd!
Add it to your calendar, tell your friends, spread the gospel. You know the drill. Stay tuned!

Yes, only one of the h-scenes is animated this time. Even though we'd like to do more per update, they take a damn lot of time to make. The ones you see in the teaser gif are not really complete animations, at least comparing to what we usually add into the game, since only few selected parts of the images is animated, while everything else off screen is static. We thought about putting those into the game, but they simply look jarring. Also, sorry for the late reply!

Is it just the one animation? Nothing wrong with that if that's the case, but seeing the three seperate animated teaser images in this post made me think there were more
