How To ACTUALLY Become a Millionaire and Quit Your Job.
🕑 Added 2025-02-16 12:18:46 +0000 UTCYes, you read that right.
I’m going to share a story from one of our members, Rob, that might just blow your mind.
We just got done with our private members zoom and this email was the topic.
As you can see, Rob went from putting £26k into Palantir all the way to £160k, and all that with tax protection.
He doubled his money in Tesla, snagged an 800% gain in Hims, and parlayed profits into BTC, MicroStrategy, and Nvidia.
Best of all, he just wrote to tell me that he’s officially a millionaire, quitting his day job at the end of the month, and he’s ready to chase his real passion full time.
That’s the dream, right?
And yes, you’ve heard me talk about big wins before. You’ve heard me discuss the importance of sound investing, the potential for dynamic equities, the crazy swirl of tech stocks, and the unstoppable juggernaut that is our modern financial realm.
But there’s something magical about hearing from real people, living, breathing individuals who went from “I hope this works” to “I’m a millionaire now, goodbye day job!”
The screenshot from Rob is exactly that: living proof that our investing and mind set approach can transform financial lives.
Now, before we dive into the meat and potatoes, let me be clear: investing is risky, it’s stressful at times, and I can’t guarantee 800% returns to all my students.
But success stories like Rob’s are not random flukes.
They’re the result of combining dedication, knowledge, strategy, and a strong sense of personal discipline. They’re made possible by the synergy of a supportive community that shares thoughtful research, timely insights, and the conviction to hold when the market gets bumpy.
If you want that synergy in your corner, the ROIC Academy is where you’ll find it in spades.
I know many of you have read the highlight from Rob’s email. But let’s place it in context, so you feel the magnitude:
Starting Capital: £26k in Palantir.
Result: Turned that £26k into £160k, all tax protected.
Tesla Double: He doubled his money in Tesla, feeling hopeful for its future.
Hims Gains: Achieved an 800% gain on Hims, then trimmed to manage risk.
Reallocation: Moved that Hims profit into BTC, MicroStrategy, and Nvidia.
Net Result: He’s a millionaire, quitting his sales job, reviving his passion, and planning to live his best life.
That’s a massive pivot.
Think about it: going from a 9-to-5 sales job to “I’m done. I have enough capital. I can chase what makes me feel alive, my music, because finances no longer dictate I stay in a job I might not love.”
This is the dream scenario for so many. It’s not just about the money. It’s about the freedom that money provides, the ability to shape your life around passions, loved ones, and personal growth.
Of course, I want to emphasize that Rob’s success is a combination of factors: yes, he leveraged insights from our Academy, from me, from the research we share, from the camaraderie that helps people hold on when markets do a tango.
But he also had personal conviction, patience, and a willingness to keep learning. We can’t clone him exactly, nor replicate the exact set of trades. But it underscores the principle that knowledge plus community plus the right mindset can be rocket fuel.
And that’s precisely what the ROIC Academy is about.
In the Academy Tier, we dissect earnings thoroughly, debate the business model, weigh the pros and cons of investing in a particular company, discuss the growth runway, risk factors, competition, discounted cash flow models, and possible timeline for share price appreciation.
When you’re done, you don’t just have a headline, you have a firm bedrock of understanding.
Then, if you decide to invest, you invest with a sense of conviction. That’s the difference.
If the basic Discord membership is a friendly campfire where we gather to chat, the ROIC Academy is like going inside the cabin to gather around the fireplace for in-depth strategic sessions with the best experts around. It’s more focused, more intimate, more advanced.
Let me break down a few key differences:
Advanced Research: We present deeper analysis on companies. Instead of a bullet-point overview, you get thorough, structured research reports that evaluate every aspect of a business: leadership, competitive environment, macro tailwinds, valuation multiples, potential catalysts, and so forth.
Tailored Sessions: We do 4 monthly private streams that are exclusive to ROIC Academy members. Imagine being able to ask pointed questions about a new stock you’re eyeing, and hearing me or other members provide in depth perspectives.
Psychology & Mindset: We aren’t just about numbers. We talk a lot about emotional resilience, mental framing, and the discipline to stay the course or pivot when needed. That often spells the difference between panic-selling at the bottom or having faith in your research.
Networking with Serious Investors: The Academy is filled with folks who are truly committed. We’re not there to troll or to chase flavor-of-the-month meme stocks without logic. When you form relationships with people who share that seriousness, synergy happens.
The free tier is fantastic for general community vibes. But we can’t possibly do the deep, meaty breakdowns at that scale. We keep it simpler. So if you have ambitions that match or exceed Rob’s, the ROIC Academy might be the best environment for you to flourish.
Don't let yourself, hold you back:
“I’m Not Ready for Advanced Stuff”: You might think the Academy is for hardcore finance geeks. Honestly, you do not need a finance degree to benefit. If you have the willingness to learn, the Academy can expedite your learning curve. If you are hungry for more depth, the Academy welcomes novices and advanced folks alike, as we break it down from fundamentals to complexities.
“I Don’t Have Enough Capital”: Another assumption is that you need a huge portfolio to justify the membership. Yes, if you’re investing only $100 total, maybe wait until your capital grows. But if you have a few thousand or tens of thousands or more, the knowledge gained can help you avoid mistakes that cost far more than any membership fee.
“I Can’t Afford the Time”: People worry about time commitment. The beauty is that the Academy Tier is designed to be flexible. You can watch replays if you miss a live session. You can read or skip certain deep-dives that don’t interest you. The entire environment is structured so you can engage as much as you want, or as little. But the resources are there when you’re ready.
“I’m Afraid I’ll Make Mistakes Anyway”: Fear of mistakes is normal. But that’s exactly why a supportive, knowledgeable community matters. By getting feedback from me and others, you can refine your strategy, spot blind spots, and make fewer mistakes. Or if you do stumble, we help you learn from it and bounce back stronger.
“Maybe the Market is Too Uncertain Right Now”: People sometimes want perfect clarity. Newsflash: The market is always uncertain. That’s the nature of investing. If you wait for 100% clarity, you’ll never invest. The best approach is to gather knowledge, calibrate risk, and seize opportunities. The Academy can guide you through these choppy waters.
A Bit About Market Mindset and Emotional Fortitude
One piece that often goes underappreciated in free investing forums is how to handle the emotional rollercoaster that is finance. We love to talk about the fundamentals and the charts, but the intangible aspect is how to keep your head when everyone else is losing theirs.
The Academy focuses heavily in mindset training. I share personal anecdotes of times I sold too early, or too late, or held something for the wrong reasons. We talk about how to reframe short-term losses in a bullish position, how to handle big unexpected windfalls like Rob’s, and how to manage risk so that one single disappointment doesn’t blow up your entire portfolio.
Why does that matter? Because when you read about Rob or see me posting about a big winner, it’s easy to think it was all sunshine and unicorns from day one. But the truth is, behind every big win is a journey of ups and downs, moments of doubt, and points where you might want to bail out at the worst time. Emotional resilience is a major factor that separates the average investor from the ones who truly see big transformations in their wealth.
If you sense that your emotional game is lacking, trust me, the Academy Tier is going to help you refine it. This alone can be worth the upgrade because you might hold that Palantir or Tesla or Hims position longer than you would have on your own, or you might secure profits or rotate effectively if the fundamentals change.
That strategic approach is not guesswork. It’s a skill that can be learned.
And let’s not forget the intangible magic of simply being in a group that’s collectively driven. Positive peer pressure can keep you from panic selling. Seeing others’ success stories, like Rob’s, can keep you motivated to stay the course. When you hit a snag, you have a circle that can share perspectives, solutions, or alternative strategies. That’s unbelievably powerful.
So you’ve read the success stories, the breakdown of benefits, you’ve considered the reservations. Maybe you’re leaning toward upgrading.
Let’s talk about the “how,” in a practical sense.
Introduction & Orientation: Once you join the ROIC Academy, we encourage you to introduce yourself in the Academy chat. Share your background, your goals, your experience level. This helps everyone get to know you, and you’ll likely receive some warm welcomes from the group.
Explore the Resources: Dive into the archived lectures, watch all the recorded sessions starting from #1 and onwards, and get a feel for the style of analysis. You might find some immediate insights that resonate with you or some older calls that illustrate how we approach different market conditions.
Set Goals & Get Engaged: The best outcomes come from being an active participant. Set some personal goals—maybe you want to refine your portfolio by the end of the quarter, or research 3 new stocks that align with your risk tolerance. Use the Academy’s resources to achieve that.
Stay in Touch: If you have questions or concerns, reach out. I want to see you succeed. The entire reason we do this is to cultivate success stories. If you find yourself stuck or uncertain, let us know.
That’s how we grow together.
Once you’re in, you’ll notice the difference almost immediately. The depth of conversation, the quality of analysis, and the mutual support is on a whole different level. You’ll wonder how you managed before.
And remember, membership might cost money, but consider it an investment in your own education and financial future.
Look folks, investing can be the path to building that foundation. But going it alone can be lonely, confusing, and, at times, perilous. On the flip side, immersing yourself in a thriving, supportive community that emphasizes data-driven analysis, emotional discipline, and good old-fashioned camaraderie can be the spark that ignites real change. If you’re on the fence, I get it. Decisions can be tough.
But if your intuition says that you’re ready for a deeper experience, for more thorough guidance, for a chance to accelerate your learning curve, then the Academy is waiting.
Think about Rob. He took these steps, engaged with the knowledge, made smart moves, and reaped extraordinary rewards. He’s not an outlier in terms of possibility, he’s someone who leveraged the synergy of knowledge, took action, managed risk, and stayed the course. There’s no reason you can’t do something similar, in your own style, at your own pace. The question is: do you want to?
If the answer is yes, then let’s do this.
