Patch Tomorrow
🕑 Added 2021-07-19 21:40:27 +0000 UTCHey everyone! Just stopping by to let you guys know that there will be a massive patch tomorrow. You can see some of the info in the image above (by Turbodrivder) for base game, but as it warns this is also an expansion pack prep patch and these ones always come with widespread mod breakage.
Last expansion patch in November it was traits and some other things due to Snowy Escape, and this one? More than likely anything associated with cooking, recipes, functional objects, lot traits, and of course UI mods will be impacted. We can't guess what they will change or add, or if the changes will even cause breakage, only that these mod types will be impacted in some way. So if you don't want to update now is the time to turn off automatic updates, which you can see here how to do so.
Also, MCCC's creator will not be able to even check the mod until at least Friday, so if you can't play without it you especially should turn off updates.
I will be putting up a patch status post tomorrow again and update it as I learn more. However, I will be gone for at least 2 hours at some point tomorrow, but will be back to working on updates when I return.
And lastly, I've been hard at work trying to wrap up these mods that I wanted to release before Cottage Living, but due to falling behind schedule from the errors I've previously mentioned in my WIP posts, only one (maybe two) will release before the 22nd. At least if I don't run into more issues and the patch doesn't set me back greatly. The rest will have to be after the 22nd (especially Arranged Marriages), but I do plan to still get these finished in a timely manner. I will use any break time from those mods to work on a few of the minor Cottage Living mods though.
See you guys tomorrow! And for those who update, enjoy the patch!
