yea they already know that. What they are saying is that it was stupid writing, because everyone knows Rhaenys was never going to kill Vhagar. Even Daemon literally says that he can’t take Vhagar alone, but with Rhaenys’ help they could at least take King’s Landing by killing the Greens. Rhaenys going back was just bad writing — the same way her crashing Aegon’s coronation but not killing the Greens made no sense. Both scenes never happened in the books because they’re obviously poor writing choices. In the books, Rhaenys fights both Sunfyre and Vhagar, and it’s not in her favour at all. She dies in the battle with no chance to escape. But because the show doesn’t have the budget to animate a full 3-dragon fight this season, they changed it and it resulted in moments like this. Season 2 is basically a setup for Season 3, since HBO saved most of the budget for the big dragon battles later. That’s why the writing and scale in S2 feel weaker.

just let yall know ppl reacting to why rhaenys went back. the king ageon doesn't matter if he lives or dies. you win with the dragons. if one side doesn't have dragons then they cant compete so if meleys was able to kill both sunfyre and vhagar then the war would've been essentially over
