5 days late and I stopped at 46:30 to write this but I call double standard. So it's ok for Deb to break up with Gabriel without mentioning the real reason why (She doesn't tell him the reason is Lundy), but Dexter fucked up with Rita because he tried to move on when she told him to his face that it's over for them? Let's not forget that Dexter is a very literal and methodical person, so when Rita said it's over for them he took that literally. Yet he should have done everything in his power to win her back and ain't allowed to let it be? Fuck outtaaaa heeere. Edit: No shade on Alicia or Pom, I love watching their responses to this amazing show. I just think that Dexter doesn't deserve all that flak from Deb after what she just did to Gabriel. Edit 2: Also I'm proud of Gabriel for saying no when Deb asked to break up, because the first thing he thought was something was wrong with him. He genuinely cared about their relationship and wasn't gonna accept it without knowing why (she still lied to him though and didn't bring up Lundy). But props to my man for standing his ground. Actual King energy.
