Standard Cut vs Tight Cut
In the zip-file there are two versions of the mini to choose from. The first one has our standard style outlines. They have a nice generous outline that makes them very easy to cut, and a white halo around the mini to preserve a nice, crisp silhouette without you having to cut them tightly. If you're a beginner, definitely go with that one! The second has a much tighter outline. It's more difficult to cut out, but is a more popular choice for many experienced paper miniature aficionados who have the skill and patience and tools to do it just right! If you're one of those, this style might be for you!
Cutfiles
Mike over at Paper Realms has generously donated some cutfiles for this mini! They'll work with the alt versions too! I've attached them down below! These won't be useful to you if you don't have a Silhouette automated cutter, but if you do, you should definitely check out Mike's Patreon page! If there's a set of minis you need cut out, he's probably got exactly the cutfile you need!

Hi, there! So sorry for the very late reply! Generally speaking, 110lb card is a lot thicker than you need... It'll add some nice weight and stiffness, but it'll also be a lot harder to cut by hand. 80lb card is generally the sweet spot you want to aim for... it's fairly thick and has a nice stiffness to it, but it's thin enough that you'll be able to slice through it without having to apply too much pressure. Cutting through 4 layers of 110lb card is really tough because that card is especially dense and you need to apply a lot of pressure to get through all those layers of closely packed fibers. You may have better luck with slightly thinner card. Using a less dense card for the inner core might help too! The design of the current minis is optimised to work with the slider bases I provide, but many of my fans do use slotted bases, and I understand that having a fold at the tab below the feet would make their lives easier. I've long had plans to make that an option, but because it completely changes the layout of things, it's a really complicated task, and unfortunately I just can't fit it into my really packed schedule right now. Hopefully I will be able to do it in the future, but that depends on how things work out going forward. In the mean time, thank you so much for all your support!
What weight of cardstock would you recommend for your miniatures? I usually use 110lb. cardstock for durability, but it seems too thick for the way your miniatures are based. Most of the minis I use on a regular basis are joined at the feet allowing me to score them at the bottom and use the tab straight into a One Monk paper base of the proper diameter with little fuss. With yours, I have to cut the tabs off the paper base and glue the mini in at the same time I glue the two circular (or oval halves for mounts) of the base together. Its an inelegant solution and your miniatures always come out shorter than everybody else's on the game table. I also usually add a layer or two of extra cardstock to my bases to give them extra heft and durability as well.
