π CHRISTMAS CONTENT COMMUNITY COLLAB π
🕑 Added 2022-11-02 19:00:21 +0000 UTCπ Let's decide what I should make for Christmas together!
I'm excited to announce that I set up a little event for those who are supporting me on Patreon. In the following weeks we're going to work together on this little set that I release for Christmas. I make the CC & you decide everything else!
π HOW?
- You need to be my patron (but since you're reading this, you don't need to worry)
- Comment maximum 3 things that you want for Christmas. They can be anything, not just Christmas themed items. - (but build/buy items only)
- I choose the most common ones and those that I like the most even if just one person suggested them (15-20 items)
- You vote in a poll for those items that you like the most
- I create the top 5 and release them absolutely free on December 23th so everybody can have them for Christmas!
π COMMENT YOUR IDEAS UNDER THIS POST AND LET'S SEE WHAT WOULD YOU LOVE! There are no bad answers, all ideas are welcomed!

Oh yes, oil and gas lamps have always been on my list!
I absolutely love the idea of the tiles and the big stove! Downtown Abbey is so inspiring<3
I love all of them especially the chandelier! Thanks for the links, i saved them!π₯°
Wow, thank you for this amazing gesture and opportunity! Off the top of my head I would love to have a plate shelf, with or without, fancy or rustic plates (ex. folklore), a Neo-Renaissance desk and a small brass chandelier. Something like this perhaps? Keep up the good work! :-)

My oddly specific suggestions: Victorian Christmas Decorations (stairwell evergreens, archway evergreens. Tree candles!) The kitchen wall tiles from Downton Abbey, but wall decor buildy bits. https://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jpyKjsaYIIk/Vhwe8gQ_upI/AAAAAAAAF-Y/PJp9N_SOClA/s640/downtonkitchen.jpg A large manor home style woodfire oven/stove? https://destinationtea.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/11/2021-11-Downton-Exhibit-WaldorfIMG_5073-copy.jpg Omg sorry for the repost, so many typos.

I love the idea of the fireplace stove combo, I have a Medieval version but it looks out of place in Victorian/Edwardian homes. Also more oil or gas lamps for the same reason. Maybe a Dickenson Christmas focused on the Cratchits?
These fireplaces are super interesting, as I didn't know about them before. Thanks for showing them to me!

It wonβt let me reply to my comment but the absolute best thing for lower to middle class edwardian homes (and well into the 20th century) would be a fireplace grate like this that works as a stove. Itβs difficult to build period-accurate homes when most people in that social bracket would have used something like this for cooking and warmth. https://pin.it/3KJmdOT https://pin.it/jf75N13
Oh sorry, i misunderstood it as wall panelsπ My grandma has so many porcelain wall plates, and i love them! Also all my relatives have a vitrine at home to display their wonderful porcelain collection that they only use for Christmas and Easter. I'd love to have them in my game!

I would loooooovvvee Victorian or Edwardian porcelain plates!!! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
There are never enough wall plates ahhaha, I looove them! Which style would be your favorite? Medieval, Tudor, Baroque, maybe Victorian? Also wooden or marble? so many possibilities

I would love to see more wall plates as decor!!! They add so much to my vintage scenes! And I loved the ones that showed up on your wainscoting pictures
I love creating lower-middle class content! What are the objects that immediately come to mind when you think of an Edwardian lower-middle class home?
addons are a good idea!
yes, like kerosene lamps! π₯

What a lovely, lovely idea for christmas! Thank you so much for this and I cant wait to see the results! Actually I'd love to have two addons for your Budapest built set - a smaller window (square one, four glas panes) and a bigger one with three rows of glas panes

Anything Edwardian- particularly aimed at lower to middle class people
Henry Kalaf
Victorian- off the grid lighting fixtures

Yes, yes! <3 <3
omg yes, I absolutely love Dickensian aesthetics!
GeorgiaMommyPeach
Oh, oh! Dickensian -A Christmas tree decorated with lighted candles!
some victorian snowmen with top hats and monocles?π§
Thank you for the wonderful initiative! How about a set of mid-Victorian lighting fixtures? Like gas lamps and ornate chandeliers of various styles and sizes? The Dickensian aesthetics of the 1800s would be very suitable for the Christmas season.

Fully decorated snowman for outside.
