Chelsea's birthday wip2
🕑 Added 2019-12-16 16:28:44 +0000 UTCVery rough, since it's still in the "figuring out how these lights work" stage (also in preview render mode). But we're off to a good start here, I think!
Perhaps it's biting off more than I should so early, but I'd really like to render this scene in Iray; the ability to make the candles cast real light, the increased realism with shading... I don't think I'll go quite so dark on the final image, a few more lights should improve the scene. But I like where it's going so far.
With a bit of luck, I'll have this rendered by tonight! A bit more work needs to be done on the materials and such (though Chelsea herself looks pretty good as-is, might not need much tweaking), and I might do multiple renders and the combine them for the final image. Consider this still just an experiment, but it might be the first of many that will be rendered using these new methods. ^^
