I shook from excitement and nerves and breathed in her aroma every time it wafted my way. I couldn't believe how utterly attractive she was and to think she wanted to spend the night with me by her side didn't seem real. Amelia Winslet smiled and guided me up. "Take off your clothes and get under the covers. I'll turn the fan off for now." I was embarrassed at the thought of my body not living up to her standards so I jumped into the bed and covered myself up before she could even turn back to me from the fan's switch. She raised an eyebrow and walked over seeming to know my little trick. "Where did you put your clothes?" I looked down at the floor and she followed my eyesight. "If this is too much-"
"It's not." I interrupted squeezing the comforter tighter.
She put my clothes on the edge of the bed and took her time unbuttoning her pants. It didn't matter that I had seen what was hidden underneath before, it still made my breath catch. And it looked bigger than I remembered. "You never asked me any questions about this." Ms. Winslet said. Her collarbones showed themselves as she pulled off her shirt. "You don't think it's odd?"
I shook my head and she slipped under the blankets with me.
"Your just curious is aren't you?" Her cold hand made me jump as it slid behind my back and hugged my arch, her breasts rubbed against mine as she kissed me again, her arms held me against her as she trailed her love down my neck and to my shoulder. She was softer than I imagined her to be. Wiping up what she could from the now-stained sheet she wiped her finger off my stomach and I looked at it curiously as she breathed in dramatically. "What were you saying about not wanting treats?"
Sitting up I stared at our mess and winced feeling my muscles ache. "I take it back."
She laughed a pure one that made me wonder if it was really Amelia Winslet who sat in front of me. But it was her smile and her eyes as she got off of the bed slowly. "Lay back down I'll clean you up." My lungs were trying their hardest to catch back up and my heart was heard throughout my head as I laid down and closed my eyes, never before had I felt so at peace. Maybe it was just a feeling of complete ecstasy that overwhelmed me but I wondered if I had ever wanted to go back to my other life. Of course, I loved my family and friends but I wasn't...happy.
When I laid down back home in the bedroom I grew up in, I worried about school and the debt that would soon come to rule my life. I thought about how tired I was of working and dealing with people who never truly knew me. Now when I lay down I feel content. No worries except that my parents were ok crossed my mind. Instead, I thought about how the chickens were doing and what we would eat for dinner. I wondered about the movie Amelie would pick out for us next and I felt at ease knowing every little thing was ok and if it didn't feel ok Grace would hold me.
I thought about that as I laid down after dinner and after we had cleaned up, she had told me to go to bed and closed the door. While she sat in her robe in the sitting area, the TV flashed on her moisturized face as she situated her glasses and read a book. At some point, I dozed off but I was woken up to feel her slip into bed next to me, she turned and quickly fell asleep leaving me alone in the giant suite. For the first time in a long time, I wasn't confined to one area. She hadn't tied me up or made sure to secure anything to my harness that lay on the floor so I quietly slipped out of bed and felt the freedom beneath my feet.
I wandered around the dark hotel room wondering how long it would take for the AC to kick on. When it finally did I tip-toed to the door and opened it to see nothing but a hallway. No one was there to stop me. If I wanted to leave I could, if I wanted to take the chance to be on my own I could, if I wanted to see my parents again...I could. Unless everything Amelia said to be true then I could have my old life back.
I could.
I raised my hand towards my collar and thought about the conversation we had while we were eating. Ms. Winslet told me how much she loved to have me as her pet in the bedroom but in real life...in the every day it wasn't her that preferred me on the leash. "What do you mean? My pasta was twirled around my fork but I waited to eat it.
Ms. Winslet hadn't been as patient as she waited for her food to go down, her napkin covering her mouth as she chewed. "Grace loves it. She loves..." she thought a little longer before finishing her sentence. "She loves being the one holding your leash not the one engraved on your collar."
Her vague words made sense in a way but not enough so that I felt satisfied with her answer. I wanted to ask Grace about it, I wanted to know more. I wanted to know how they met and how their lives came to be. I wanted to be there at the dinner table and for some reason, I wanted to be back in bed with Ms. Winslet.
I closed the door as slowly as I had opened it and locked it accordingly. My feet drug me back to the bed where I found it to be even more confined than before. With the blankets up to my neck and warmth radiating beside me, I drifted back to sleep. If I was a fly on the wall watching us I could have seen Amelia close her eyes after watching me and smiling before she herself fell asleep.
