Number 2 came in second, with some people favoring either 4 or 2, and others choosing 2 right away.
“2. Proceed with John’s part in Book 3 and simultaneously start a separate Earth-based spin-off on Royal Road. On Patreon, I’ll organize it as a separate collection, since creating a new page isn’t an option.
I’ll write three chapters a week for John’s story (e.g., Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday), with the remaining chapters dedicated to the new book. Although it’ll appear in sequence on the main feed, you can skip anything by going directly to the collection.”
So, here’s the plan:
I’ll continue writing the Lumis story and follow John’s journey. In my free time, I’ll start working on the Earth spin-off, but I won’t upload it just yet. Once I have enough chapters—this will take time since I’m writing a chapter six days a week—I’ll upload them all at once to a new collection and notify you.
To avoid flooding your inbox with twenty or more chapters, you won’t receive them by email. Instead, I’ll post a notice when the collection goes live.

It's not that simple. The Earth pare follows 2 individuals on Earth for quite a few books with full chapter outline. It's not the gang but 2 people on Earth getting ready and the integration itself. I'll deal with it when I have time.

You could just continue with John, then have a reaction-type few chapters at the end of the book when he meets up with the others. They catch him up with their story and he also reads the Internet for the general trend of Earth as whole. When you're done with the book, you can work on a compilation of side-stories as its own book to fill in the blanks or give more focus to the interesting tales. This can be done while you get inspiration for the next part of John's story.

Only when I have time - that's why I said it will take time. I also still work half a day as a translator. So, it will be a future thing ...
