That's the way I understand it as well, would have to read the verbiage for mystic arcanum more closely though.

Seems like if I remake my first PC Hexblade with 2024 rules I can just dip fighter I don't even feel like I'm losing much of anything! (Except maybe HBCurse) Extra invocations and removal of Improved Pact Weapon make it almost as smooth. Honestly getting some weapon masteries out of it feels like a better deal anyway!

because mystic arcanum are not spell slots consumed, they fall under the same new rules right? bonus action spells can happen same turn?

radiant soul with aasimar that lets you add radiant damage to eldritch blast could be good, or the mes. tiefling (i think?) that gets firebolt could be fun with that ability, maybe some eldritch abomination of a multiclass with evocation wizard so even on a miss you do half a d10 + CHA + CHA

Pretty sure you can’t share images or anything, but can you confirm if* the Pact of the Chain options (namely my favorite: Pseudodragon) received any buffs? Some more HP to compare to the Sphinx of Wonder maybe?

Going to need to take a second look at any spell which is a natural Bonus Action- Tasha’s Guise looks a bit more tempting as a BA Arcanum

OK! I had to check if it was mentioned here, and it wasn’t (from what I could see)- per the new Spellcasting rules, only 1 spell per turn which uses a spell slot, BUT ARCANUMS EXPLICITLY DON’T EXPEND SPELL SLOTS- if you can cheat a Bonus Action Arcanum or 2nd Action, you can cast 2 Arcanums in a single turn, or even multiple Arcanums and a 5th level spell if you can find the actions somewhere!
