New video playlist and recommended order
🕑 Added 2024-08-02 00:22:21 +0000 UTCHey everyone. I first want to thank all the new patrons, I can't thank you enough for your support. I am overwhelmed how many new patrons joined today (I was expecting maybe 50, hoping for maybe 100, instead it's 500+ and more coming in! AMAZING!) I'm sending out personal thank you messages, but there are so many I don't know if I'm going to get to everyone or not. Doing my best!
In the meantime, if you joined at wizard level or higher, make sure you have a discord account linked to your Patreon account and are a member of my discord server to access the patron chat channels. Here's an invite to the server in case you are not a member yet: https://discord.gg/T6cct8ts
The most common issue we have with Wizard patrons is that they can't see the Patron Chat channel on my Discord. The fix is to go to the server settings and set the "show all channels" tab to on. If you have any other technical issues, you can messsage me here, or ping me or any of the mods on the server.
As for the new videos, they appear to have uploaded in random order...cool, cool, cool. (At least they uploaded). I'll be making a playlist when they are public, but in the meantime, this was the intended order:
Rebalanced spells
Spells that weren't fixed
Spells with interesting changes
New spells
Origin feats
Backgrounds
General feats (part 1)
part 2
part 3
Fighting style feats
Epic boon feats
Cantrips
Species
Invocations
Warlocks
Metamagic
Sorcerers
Barbarians
Fighters

No kevin at level 10 you gain access to all druid, cleric, and wizard spells.

At what levels do bards learn new spells and how many? Does magical secrets still give them 2 new ones at level 10?

Is there an updated discord link? The one I found is out of date…
The Insanity of The Toilet
I'm so bloody excited to play barbarian! I was excited playing a 2014 barbarian as well, but it just feels like everything got better. Grauul Smash!
Aegis Vald
I think it might actually be a good choice since it really helps balance the melee warlock into a glass cannon instead of making the tanky with just a single feat.
Dan Macke
It’s not in the YouTube sections but it’s the latter part of the Thrown Weapon FS!
Infinitejest
Moderately armored feat needs shields as well. I can't see taking it otherwise
Joosh Wolfheart
Am I missing something or is the two-weapon fighting style feat missing?
Jason Duty
Would love to see a video on spells that are now available to different classes. And maybe a 1st level spell tier list for magic initiate.
Beepo!
Love your videos! They keep me going during my work day! Thank you for all your hard work. I'd be very interested to hear your thoughts on the Rogue when you get to it. Im worried about oil and acid now being attack actions and how it will affect the Thief.
Sean Plunkett
MONK… soon please 🙏 It will be a great tribute to your infamous “monks suck” video that I enjoyed so much. 😉
Dan Macke
Very very curious of your analysis on ranger with new and updated spells and all :)
John Dennehy
I watched everything too quickly and now suffering with withdrawals until we get new content 😖
Gregor McAlpine
It does, already confirmed
Matthew Herndon
Love your videos! Super quickly, I've heard rumors that spiritual weapon now requires concentration.... Can you confirm or deny and provide your thoughts on it?
Treantmonk's Temple
Yes and yes.
Christian Moustrides
Can't wait for the new wizard video! Gonna be interesting to hear about your thoughts on combos with the new spell slot per turn rule. I can see fey feat going great with a free misty step and other spell combo
Kevin Grimm
Are you gonna release a monk video soon? Or cleric?
Merowald
Your videos are amazing. No annoying music in the background, not many cuts, you are eloquent and you always come to the point. It's very pleasant to listen to you. Keep up your work and stay as you are.
Ryan
Thanks for all you do for the D&D community. I had to join to binge-watch your new videos!

Thanks so much for this remarkable amount of work Chris. Like many here, I have followed your content for a long time (you first showed up on my radar during my 3.5 years for your famous god wizard article). It's a pleasure to support your work, and I'm glad you gave me such a great reason to do what I should have done a long time ago and sign up.
GishLife
Thanks, it's kinda hard to find some of them due to Patreon inetrface

Binging Treantmonk is a blast at least! Thanks for all the great content over the decades!

I'm delighted that the number of people supporting you has increased so much! You offer the best D&D information and analysis of anyone online.
Treantmonk's Temple
FYI If you are a wizard level or higher patron and trying to find Patron channels on my discord, make sure to go to the server settings and make sure "Show all channels" is set to on.
Treantmonk's Temple
I'll get on that when I get a chance. Give me a couple days
GishLife
Please make the listings in the above post into links to the vids. thanks!

I've been watching you for awhile now and you are by far one of the most informative D&D content creators. You're clearly passionate about your work and seem like you have a lot of fun with it. So, thank you for all the content you've pumped out as the new PHB is coming out and thank you for the massive amount of information you've provided all of us!
John Nomina
So glad to see this many people joining up. Chris’s content is well worth it.

Mallory Glover
The videos are so great!! Honestly this was the best pitch for a Patreon I've ever seen -- I definitely wanted to watch them all immediately. Been a long time fan of the channel too so it seems right to support. Thanks for all your hard work!
Anareth
I'm one of your new Patrons! Been watching your content for years and figured, now is as good a time as any! Great work, and enjoy your time away!
Max Kaplan
Wow! That's amazing for you Chris, congrats! Loving the videos :)

So they were intended to watch in release order yeah I figured, but from my experience on the patron app on mobile they were uploaded in the right order exacpt the spells that were not fixed video which for some reason appeared as the last one, perhaps it is simply an issue only with it.
FlareGlutox
Well deserved for this amount of work.
donald rohwer
Congrats on the new member. Keep up the awesome work.
