Jen redraw
🕑 Added 2019-11-08 00:54:14 +0000 UTCAbout one year ago (October 22nd but ya know) I drew a picture of one of my fav Instagram girls Jen Brett (the second slide) and I have been wanting to redraw it for a while now.
Lately I've been struggling with the feeling of not improving fast enough/ feeling like I can't draw well enough etc like everyone does every now and again.
But doing this redraw has opened my eyes again at how far I've come this past year! I may be not as good as other people or as good as I want to be eventually but that would also suck because I would already have reached my goal and in art the most fun is learning and improving and seeing yourself grow over time through practice!:)
Lol idk where I'm going with this but if you feel like you are not good enough don't compare yourself to your heroes or the final destiny of your journey (if there even is one), but compare yourself to the person you were in the past, be it yesterday or a year ago and see your small steps towards being better at what you want to master/ become really good at!
Thank you for coming to my TED talk haha I hope you are all having an amazing day! You guys are just the best ily!<3
