Vellum Overlay 12: No Touchy
🕑 Added 2024-12-21 13:14:27 +0000 UTCHere is the twelfth illustration in the series of vellum overlays for Yearning For Her, from chapter 25. This is when Eli paid Willow a visit and wouldn't take "No" for an answer. So Kian teaches him a lesson with a warning (he wanted to do so much more...). I looove it when heroes get all possessive and protective. And Kian in this? Fremuard painted this scene beautifully. Just look at Kian! Pissed off Kian is hot. đ„”đ„”đ„”

Scene Snippet:
âExcuse me for a moment, Violet.â Kian turned his head aside, glanced at the bouquet Eli had set atop the couch backrest, and plucked a single rose from the bunch.
âYouâre not in your right mind, Will.â Eli let out a heavy breath, moving with clear discomfort as he grabbed onto the couch and began to rise. âI get it. Youâre hurt, I fucked up, and thisâŠthis is your way of getting back at me. Lesson learned, okay?â
Kian offered Willow one more smile. As he spun toward Eli, she saw that smile twist into a snarl.
Eli continued, âMaybe the emo guy should step out so we can taââ
Kianâs boot struck Eli in the chest. The man fell back, hitting the floor so hard that he wouldâve bounced were it not for Kian following through to plant that same boot on Eliâs throat.
Eyes bulging, Eli grasped Kianâs boot, clawed at his leg, and thrashed on the floor, but the incubus didnât budge.
âYouâve nothing more to say,â Kian growled. âYou had your chance. And after what you did to her, I should tear your fucking heart out of your chest and shove it down your throat.â
Eliâs struggles intensified, and his face turned red, but still, he couldnât move Kian.
Willow gathered the hem of her blouse in her hands and clenched it, remaining silent.
Kian leaned forward, his shifting weight forcing a choked sound out of Eli. âYouâve no idea how tempted I am, Eli. You cannot fathom the humiliations you would endure, the suffering. To take your pathetic mind apart one thread at a time would be a delight to me. You have no idea what fucked up truly means. But I could show you, Eli.
âYou deserve no less. You came here, to her home, and tried to force yourself upon her? Tried to claim what was never yours to begin with? She is mine. You were never even worthy of licking the shit off her heel. And it is only because of her compassion, because of her kindness, that Iâm going to give you a last fucking chance to walk away. Itâs only because she is too good to witness what I would do to you, and Iâll not have her waste a single fucking moment pitying the wretched husk youâd become before I was through.â
Kian bent closer to Eli. âYouâre not going to come here again. Youâre not going to try to contact her again. Youâre going to forget she ever existed, because if you so much as think of Willow, I will find you and finish this for good. Understand?â
Eli nodded shallowly, unable to move his head any farther due to Kianâs boot.
When Kian lifted his foot, Eli sucked in a desperate, ragged breath and arched his back off the floor, clasping his throat. His respite was short lived.
Kian sank down, bracing his knee on Eliâs chest. He batted away Eliâs attempted blows with the same amount of effort one wouldâve used to shoo a fly before grasping the manâs cheeks in one hand and squeezing.
âAlsoââKian twirled the rose between his fingers, turning the petals into a red blurââsunflowers are her favorite.â
He shoved the bud into Eliâs mouth. Eli choked and fought, but his struggles were for nothing as the incubus twisted the flower and pressed it in more firmly. Tattered pieces of rose petal flew out with Eliâs harsh exhalation.
Kian forced Eliâs jaw shut, snapped off the roseâs stem, and threw it aside before rising.

I love watching a toxic/abusive ex get laid out by the hero. Sooo gratifying.
