VIP/Platinum Member YouTube Collab #2
🕑 Added 2024-03-19 15:30:02 +0000 UTCIt's time for our second community collab!! I will react to your guitar videos on the Guitar Academy YouTube channel :) IMPORTANT: post your video/download link in the comments below (that's the only way of getting featured).
It could be a video of you playing guitar (to get some kind & helpful feedback on your technique), your music, or anything else guitar-related. You can also cover the solo from lesson #316 if you don't have anything right now.
Please just make sure that it's a video and that you post it until March 25th because I will shoot the video on that day.
Can't wait to check your stuff out!!

I'm impressed by your doing that last arpeggio. That one is super hard. I haven't gotten that one to be decent yet.

Andddd I justtttt noticed the audio wasn't synced in time when I clipped the two different parts together in a video editor ๐๐๐ Oh welllll.

Here's a take I wish I got before my last submission if it's not too late ๐๐ฌhttps://youtube.com/shorts/r8uPsbwbWpc?feature=share

Hey Bernth! Any critiques on music video quality for this cover I did of the Killing Time solo. Thanks! https://youtube.com/shorts/Fa2gNb9Ym0w

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1mGRlP11idXrddab1-n1PDdtMTlIIT7ND/view?usp=drivesdk This is my cover of Tears Donโt Fall solo that Iโve been working on. Itโs the second solo Iโve learned by ear and the hardest so far! I know itโs not perfect yet but this is played at the same speed as the song (190 bpm) this is also without using the wah pedal which also hides some of the string noise lol any helpful advice is appreciated.

(I'm dumb and just realized I'm pretty sure it's already the 25th over there...sorry! ๐ฌ) I just wanted to participate. She aint much, but it's honest work ๐ And yes, of course my first submission had to be an attempt at a new Necrophagist solo for me ๐คญ I tried to get a clean take through the whole thing, but mann this one is rough and sloppy. Also, if your familiar with the solo, the bends sound wicked and unattainable to match, if you have any tips for reproducing the sound ๐ค https://youtu.be/GZk0LkcBLpM?si=ZEScAq1ALdebOM44

Best take of yesterday attempting part of Waterworks. I won't be able to record today, so I will post this one. Are there mistakes? Yep. But consider it a progress report! https://youtu.be/rtLxJY_VuRg

Hey Bernth! Well, if you have time for my video too. Your feedback is more than appreciated for general songwriting, instruments alignment, mixing/mastering. The song is a simple one, you have already met it in the FB group. Would love to ask your support how to improve. Thanks in advance! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2J_pwf4OK08

Hi Bernth! In this video i play exercise n. 316. Thank you for this opportunity. https://youtu.be/oSbM1HRSzpI

A lot of firsts here for me on this one. First metal song, first time writing real leads, first time using effects at all, first time playing a 5 string bass, first time using any synths. I'm aware of some of the stuff, like a few spots where the string noise is still in there. Some of the changes feel abrupt to me but i'm not sure how else to lead into them. I'm pretty happy with it overall, especially considering all the firsts, but i'd like any advice at all, mix, songwriting, mastering. Good knowledgeable advice on a lot of these things is really difficult to procure. https://youtu.be/ltTgowrF8OE?si=wV8Tj0LzVrcYq5Ze

https://drive.google.com/file/d/12NKNnUNw6k1quAIKtM7YN5lAtLLL0YWl/view?usp=sharing Part of an original song. I know it's not the most complicated-breathtaking-shredmachine type of a solo, but sometimes less is more. I would appreciate any feedback.
