Job Perks (Illustrated story - 6 pics)

This started out as a fun short, inspired by a new show this season, but I kept expanding it till it was basically full story length. I wasn't planning on making this an illustrated story, but as I was editing it, I felt an impulse to draw one of the early scenes, which led to me looking for other scenes to draw and then realizing that if I drew any scenes, I'd have to include one since the written description was a little awkward and a good illustration would do wonders to disambiguate... and then six drawings later, I'm finally ready to post.
I have one or two more ideas that I could build off this premise, but they might be shorts if I get around to them. For the rest of this month though, I'm focusing on finishing my last written commission next and after that, back to Treasure Hunter Hunter.

This is an amazing take on the isekai genre, and I could easily see things shaping up to be a juxtaposition of the kind of world that "The Executioner And Her Way Of Life" depicted. Also, so few isekai stories, due to their nature, revolve around someone that isn't the hero. Excellent work!
