Discontinuing Content for Pretty Face ($5) Tier at end of August
🕑 Added 2021-07-21 22:00:09 +0000 UTCDon't panic. This means current and future "Core Stories" that have yet to be released publicly will be posted on Wordpress (and DA if I think it won't get taken down) for free, with no delay, after August.
This middle tier has almost always been the least populated tier among my patrons and, like with the $1 tier, I've started to feel more restricted in what's most appropriate to make, content wise for it compared to the freedom I have in the $10 Tier.
Especially with existing Core Story series winding down, rather than starting new ones like I have been when I might be writer's-blocked on other unfinished one, I think I'd be happier and more productive focusing on making a minimum of two $10 stories each month with the flexibility to take those wherever my inspiration happens to lead me, rather than trying to make myself focus on a sequel to an ongoing series. Additionally, I don't feel like my ongoing series are quite strong enough to generate the appeal to warrant an early access tier (which was the original intent behind the $5 Tier) and as mentioned, the tier population supports that idea.
For those of you who are currently subscribed to this tier, if there's anything I can do that might convince you to upgrade to the $10 tier, let me know. I know for some, it's just a matter of finances. For anyone who unsubscribes, I understand and wish you well. As mentioned, future content that would have posted to the $5 Tier will be posted publicly for free.
If people want, I can leave the tier existent as a more generous version of the $1 tier's "Support the Creator," but either way, I don't intend to create content specifically for the $5 tier moving forward. That said, I do have some stuff to post for this tier for this month and next month.
While this month started out pretty normal, about half way through, things got really busy rather abruptly, and I'm not sure I'll have time to put together a new dedicated $5 story this month. That's why I'll be posting the previously $10-only:
- Control Freak 2 (the first part of which is available for free on wordpress already) and spin offs (three stories total) immediately after this post.
- All parts of Confidence (four stories total) in early-mid August as early access prior to their public releases in September.
I apologize for a bit of a lull in content for $10 patrons this month. I am still working on a new story for you, but you won't also have a new story in the $5 tier on top of that.
Finally, to wrap this already too long post up with a bit more levity, I've been doodling a lot on discord lately, and I wanted to share a few safer pieces with these and more all available in my Twitter media.
