About The Lack of Updates
🕑 Added 2020-10-26 18:42:30 +0000 UTCIf you've been here for a while you've probably noticed that I don't update comics (or anything, really) as often as I say I intend to.
For a while I've had trouble maintaining motivation for any particular project. I usually begin strongly, but my energy to continue regular updates rapidly collapses. After I do finish, I convince myself that I can power through and be consistent next time, and I'm always wrong. This is very frustrating because I KNOW that I'm capable of doing consistent work.
I don't want to endlessly lie to you guys and to myself, so after I finish Lift With Your Back (at whatever speed I can manage) I'm going to put a pause on Patreon charges for a month or so and take a break to rethink what I'm doing and why I'm doing it.
Thanks for listening, This is my main source of income and I really do appreciate the support.

Hehe, I have the same issue with programming. Although I don't get paid for it. In any case, don't feel bad for being human.

I have, I'll consider it more after the current comic is done.

You do amazing work but your health is more important, always. I would rather see you post when you can than knowing you are going to burn yourself out. Take all the time you need to recover, we will still be here to support you.

Have you considered switching to a pay per uptade schedule. Sure you have to re balance all patron tiers but you can work on your own speed

Thank you for saying something. I hope you’re able to get the rest you need to pursue whatever helps you keep that fire, even if it’s not this. Take it easy!
