316 HxH: The Strongest Assassin
🕑 Added 2025-02-20 06:02:01 +0000 UTCBased on this information, one can make a rough guess about Mizaistom's abilities.
However, the specifics remain unclear.
"Judging from what we know, Mizaistom is probably not a Nen user who specializes in combat," Kaizen mused. "Similar to Gel."
"That said, he should still be stronger than Gel."
"Gel is two-thirds poison expert and one-third fighter. Mizaistom likely isn't on that level."
"The ability of the secret chamber referee should lean more toward interrogation."
"Something like evidence gathering and conducting trials?"
"It's likely a rule-based ability. Once someone is caught in Mizaistom's conditions, escaping becomes incredibly difficult."
"But on the other hand, direct combat isn't his strong suit."
Kaizen handed Mizaistom a USB drive.
"Mizaistom-sama, this contains all the information I gathered on Red Trang."
"During the Nirvana Conference in the Kingdom of Fiora, some lower-ranking members of Red Trang happened to be seated behind me. I noticed something was off."
"So I took Tessia away."
"From there, I extracted some key details from a peripheral member."
"Using that as a lead, I was able to uncover more information."
Mizaistom's face lit up with excitement.
"Kaizen, I've been investigating the Red Trang organization for a while, but my progress has been slow."
"With the intel you've provided, my investigation will speed up significantly."
"However..."
Mizaistom hesitated before continuing.
"I won't be able to compensate you until after this matter is resolved."
Kaizen waved a hand dismissively. "That's fine, but I do have one request."
"What is it?"
"If your investigation reaches the United States of Saherta, I want to be involved. I need to help Tessia uncover her true origins."
Mizaistom fell silent for a moment.
"The Red Trang is an incredibly dangerous group, Kaizen. This won't be easy."
"I know, Mizaistom-sama. But if I'm asking this, it means I'm prepared. Besides, Taris isn't exactly safe either."
Mizaistom studied Kaizen carefully before letting out a small sigh.
"Alright, but if you get involved, you must follow my orders. No acting on your own. I can't guarantee your safety otherwise."
Kaizen nodded. "Understood. I won't do anything reckless."
"Good."
Mizaistom stood up. "I'll be in touch once we reach that stage, but it won't happen overnight. Expect it to take at least two or three months."
"Understood. Thank you, Mizaistom-sama."
Kaizen saw Mizaistom off before returning to Heavens Arena to resume his training.
Part of his routine included physical conditioning, while another focused on refining his Nen abilities.
At the same time, several Nen Beasts materialized, allowing Natsu to spar against Raiken and Akutagawa Ryunosuke.
By analyzing their strengths and weaknesses, Kaizen could better strategize for future battles.
"The difference is obvious."
"It's easy to quantify."
"Due to restrictions and oaths, my Nen Beasts are inherently stronger than my direct use of aura."
"These restrictions work in two ways: absorption and memory imprinting."
"If my aura unit is considered 1, then Akutagawa Ryunosuke's strength reaches 2, Raiken's reaches 2.2, but Natsu's can go up to 3."
"So it's far more efficient to enhance Natsu with more aura."
Meanwhile, Nina dedicated herself to rigorous training.
After Kaizen returned, Nina challenged him to a sparring match.
The outcome was a heavy blow to her confidence.
Determined, she redoubled her efforts.
Shizuku had climbed to the 120th floor of Heavens Arena.
Tessia, on the other hand, was still working on basic conditioning and gymnastics.
During his downtime, Kaizen visited TST and had a brief exchange with Yoneda Doppo, though he didn't encounter Doppo's disciple this time.
...
A month passed in the blink of an eye.
Kaizen's three-month period at Heavens Arena had come to an end.
He approached the front desk to apply for a match.
The result was predictable.
The moment his opponent saw Kaizen's name, they forfeited without even stepping into the ring.
With nine consecutive victories on the 200th floor, Kaizen needed only one more win to qualify for a Floor Master challenge.
Word spread quickly, causing a stir among the arena's upper ranks.
Even the middle-tier masters were beginning to feel uneasy.
With Kaizen's demonstrated strength, few in Heavens Arena could claim a guaranteed victory against him.
And those who knew Kaizen well understood that he would inevitably target the weakest Floor Master first.
Three folders appeared on Kaizen's laptop, transferred by Altan.
One contained data from the United States of Saherta.
Another belonged to the Mimbo Republic.
The third, labeled "010," had been specifically selected by Altan.
It pointed to a place known as "Gourmet Paradise."
What made this place unique was its creator—Linne Horsdoeuvre.
When Netero ventured to the Dark Continent, he was accompanied by several elite hunters.
Among them was Zigg Zoldyck.
And another—Linne Horsdoeuvre.
A two-star Hunter within the association, Linne Horsdoeuvre was nearly as old as Netero himself.
Unlike most Dark Continent expeditions that ended in disaster, Netero's team successfully returned without unleashing calamity upon the world.
That spoke volumes about their strength.
Netero's abilities needed no explanation.
Zigg was an undeniable powerhouse.
If Linne Horsdoeuvre had been chosen as a partner, she had to be incredibly strong as well.
Gourmet Paradise was a haven for gourmet hunters, chefs, and those obsessed with culinary mastery.
Kaizen considered this carefully.
"Absorbing the characteristics of Gourmet Paradise could allow me to create an exceptional Nen Beast."
"During the 287th Hunter Exam, two Gourmet Hunters participated."
"One was Menchi."
"The other was Buhara."
At that moment—
Ding!
An email notification popped up on Kaizen's screen.
He opened it.
His eyes widened in shock.
