370 HxH: The Strongest Assassin
🕑 Added 2025-03-19 06:02:00 +0000 UTCWhen everyone entered the Milsy Wetlands, a thick fog quickly rolled in, reducing visibility.
Soon, the examinees lost sight of the examiner. Even the figures ahead were blurry, making it impossible to rely on sight alone. They had to use sound to judge their surroundings and determine if they were moving in the right direction.
"The Man-Faced Ape, the Killer Turtle, the Waiting Giant Frog, the Hypnosis Disc, the Mine Mushroom, the Deceiving Crow..."
"There are so many creatures living in the Milsy Wetlands."
Kaizen had a sudden thought.
Back when the Kurta clan controlled Sumas, they raised many creatures—dry branch insects, giant earthworms, crows, sand scorpions. But after Sumas transformed from a fixed form to a mobile one, the number of creatures inside decreased significantly. Only the crows remained.
"Maybe I can capture some of these creatures and store them inside Sumas."
As soon as the idea formed, Kaizen couldn't help but feel excited.
"That's actually a great idea."
"Sumas is divided into six areas—forests, grasslands, deserts, pyramids, trial grounds, and blank zones."
"Each area spans about ten square kilometers."
"Housing a few creatures won't be a problem."
"Not just creatures—there are plenty of rare plants in this wetland that could be stored inside Sumas. Any plant that survives here must have incredible vitality."
"But I should focus on the ones that bear fruit."
The fog had no effect on Kaizen. He could easily see through it. Additionally, he had already mastered En.
...
A sudden explosion rang out.
Kaizen shook his head.
"Failed again."
"These Mushrooms are ridiculously delicate. Even the slightest touch makes them explode."
Of course, the explosion didn't harm Kaizen. However, it did ruin his plan to transplant the mushrooms into Sumas.
"Wait…"
"What if I transfer the entire section of land along with the mushrooms? That way, I won't disturb them."
Kaizen's eyes lit up as he immediately tested his theory.
Focusing his aura, he enveloped the ground beneath a cluster of Mushrooms, wrapping it securely. Then, with a thought, he transported the entire section of land into Sumas.
A deep indentation formed where the land had once been.
Inside Sumas, Kaizen carefully placed the patch of earth at the forest's edge.
...
He moved on to another area where a dozen butterflies fluttered their wings, scattering a fine powder into the air.
The powder contained mild toxins. Anyone who inhaled it would become hypnotized.
However, the effect was weak—nothing that could affect Kaizen. Enveloping the butterflies in his aura, he transported them into the forest section of Sumas as well.
Next came several giant frogs.
Finally, after capturing a Killer Turtle and sending it into Sumas...
Boom!
The frightened turtle thrashed about wildly, drawing someone's attention.
Sheila's pupils shrank as she rushed toward the commotion.
"A monster...?"
Sheila's eyes gleamed.
She had been trapped in this space for nearly four years. Though she had enough food to survive, even someone from Meteor City had their limits. The solitude was unbearable.
She had explored every inch of this space countless times. Nothing ever changed.
But now, out of nowhere, this massive creature appeared.
And it wasn't alone.
Sheila quickly noticed the butterflies, the giant frogs, and even the Mine Mushrooms.
"The old man once said that only members of the Kurta clan can control Sumas."
"Does that mean... the Kurta clan wasn't completely wiped out?"
"Has someone inherited Sumas and gained control over it?"
"Are they the one sending creatures inside?"
A spark of hope ignited within her.
"Could this be my chance to escape?"
Sheila's expression hardened.
She wanted to believe this was good news, but doubts gnawed at her.
"When did this person obtain control of Sumas?"
"More importantly... do they even know I exist?"
"If they do, why haven't they tried to communicate with me?"
"Are they afraid of me?"
"What will they think when they learn what I did to the Kurta clan?"
Sheila clenched her fists. The thought of her fate being decided by someone else filled her with unease.
"Whoever they are, they haven't spoken to me yet."
"That probably means they're weak."
"They're too scared to face me directly."
...
Then another thought struck her.
The genocide of the Kurta clan had made survivors even more of a target.
Whoever controlled Sumas might be in constant danger. If they were killed... would anyone else be able to take control?
If not, she'd be trapped here forever.
Sheila couldn't accept that.
She had been resigned to her fate before, but now that she saw hope, she couldn't bear the idea of losing it.
"I need to make contact."
Sheila thought quickly.
"First, I have to show them I'm not hostile."
"Then, I'll convince them that I can be useful."
"When they send in another creature, their consciousness should enter with it."
"That's when I'll speak to them. I know they'll hear me."
She climbed to a higher vantage point, ready for the next arrival.
But no more creatures came.
Kaizen had already transported most of the significant beasts from the Milsy Wetlands. Only minor ones remained.
And right now, Kaizen could sense it clearly—two incredibly strong auras were approaching.
Two figures.
He didn't need to guess. He already knew who they were.
Among the examinees, only two had such overwhelming presence.
One was Hisoka.
The other was Illumi.
