Throughout wars and forced expulsions, as well as the Crusader states, Caliphates, and empires— both Ottoman and British —they have survived. However, it seems increasingly likely that the final nail in the coffin will be expansionism by the State of Israel in the form of illegal settlers.

Really good episode! It's just a shame that it's behind a paywall as I feel as if a lot of people have no idea about a lot of the Israeli apartheid stuff especially, and definitely not that it effects groups other than the Palestinians either.
