[Episode] History of Journey to the West Adaptations - Part 2 | Video Essay
🕑 Added 2024-12-27 14:37:02 +0000 UTCLet's finish up our two part series through the history of Journey to the West adaptations, mainly focusing on 2 TV series and 2 movie series. I'm sure from the thumbnail, you can tell I don't have high praise for most of the adaptations. So, prepare for some light swearing. Despite that, we do end on a positive note!
I wish I have way more time to talk about individual adaptations such as Into the Badlands. There are just so many out there and so little time. Once again, we passed The Forbidden Kingdom by. Some day, we'll have to sit down and give this Jackie Chan + Jet Li movie its due.

Oh, Forbidden Kingdom. Such a mixed bag of a movie.
