[Episode] Drive My Car: What is Intertextuality | Video Essay
🕑 Added 2022-04-20 23:54:58 +0000 UTCPhew, this video took some time. Drive My Car is one dense and opaque movie. Took me forever to get a solid grasp on it.
But the result is worth it, this may be the most academic video on our channel yet. Drive My Car is such a unique experience in cinema, it deserves to be treated with care. Hopefully this video helps you understand the film better!
Oh, and the 2020 version of Uncle Vanya is also pretty amazing, highly recommended.
