[Episode] Stand by Me Doraemon: A Loser's Guide to Life | Video Essay
🕑 Added 2021-12-10 16:55:25 +0000 UTCFinally, we are talking about Doraemon, a cornerstone of anime in Asia, childhood to billions of young children over the past 50+ years. And somehow, it remains relatively unknown in the west.
Since the two films highlighted don't have a strong through line (it's more like small vignettes connected together), it's pretty difficult to talk about the film on a whole. So the video was written with the assumption that you know the films already. For this reason, I'd recommend watching the films, first. Don't worry if you are not familiar with the property. The two films are stand alone reboots. And they are well worth a watch.
In any case, I hope you are having a good holidays!
