[Episode] The Insane World of Chinese Shlockbusters | Video Essay
🕑 Added 2022-11-24 15:38:00 +0000 UTCA while back, a patron brought up the topic of Chinese web movies in our Discord server, and I've been in the rabbit hole ever since. I usually enjoy watching movies for work, but never to this degree. The fact that I can just sit there and enjoy the garbage fire without having to take notes is a pleasant experience, too. Maybe that's why these movies are so popular: You just don't need to pay attention to it.
If you enjoy B movies as much as I do, then oh boy, do I have a gold mine for you. All of the movies I mentioned in this video are available online legally for free. Grab a beer and enjoy!
