[Poll] Who's the next martial art star we should cover?
🕑 Added 2022-10-05 04:06:23 +0000 UTCAlright, we have enough to Jackie Chan, I'm sure. So who's the next one we should talk about?
Should it be Donnie Yen, who struggled for relevancy for most of his life before hitting it big?
Or Cynthia Rothrock, one of the only non-Asian martial artists who made it big in Hong Kong?
Or Jet Li, the last of the trinity we haven't dedicated a video on?

Curious to see what you have to say about Jet Li!

Donnie Yen and Cynthia Rothrock both have fascinating stories that are worth telling, but I actually know very little about Jet Li, so would love to see you do a spotlight on him!

This was tough for me. Donnie and Jet Li are two all time greats and two of my personal favorite movie stars, but I actually voted for Rothrock, because unlike the other two I don't believe she gets the attention she deserves.
so hard to vote! i really want to see all three!!

Cynthia Rothrock's career wasn't good, but it sure as hell was significant. Her story also highlights how the American entertainment industry is just backwards in so many ways.
