[Weekly Update] DISCORD SERVER IS UP!
🕑 Added 2019-09-08 16:52:38 +0000 UTCSo, the discord server is now live. I'll be online when watching movies or working on an episode. Feel free to come and hang out in our chat room.
If there's interests, we can even watch movies together and riff on it, or play games together.
It's connected to this page, so if you are a patron, you should be automatically invited.
If you do not have a discord account linked to your Patreon, you can join us through this link:

I'll see you there!
ABOUT THE CHANNEL:
- The Bruce Lee episode is a much larger project than anticipated. I only just started scripting and the deadline is fast approaching.
- Part of the difficulty is trying to find footage of Bruce Lee outside of films and movies. Many of the old footage are either lost or badly damaged. And there are interviews with him that I remember seeing on TV but couldn't find any more.
- I'm also preparing for an October episode, as well. As you'd expect, it'll be a Halloween episode, focus on horror, mainly films from Hong Kong, South Korea and Thailand.
- It's also going to be our channel anniversary. But I don't think I'll do anything special about it.
- It's crazy to think I've been doing this for a year and even has a Patreon page with support. Thank you all for being here.
ABOUT GAMES:
- So I beat Fire Emblem Three Houses for a second time, this time playing the Black Eagle route. And it's a disappointment. The story is your typical "And then this happened", there is no twist and turn, there is virtually no challenge to the hero. It feels like this story is rushed out compare to Blue Lion.
- I also got back into Monster Hunter World, with the release of Ice Borne. Although after hundreds of hours playing the base game, plus thousands of hours in the series, I'm a bit burned out. I supposed there is a chance for us to play together, though.
- The last Nintendo Direct announced a port of Xenoblade Chronicle. It was my favourite game for a long time, and still my favourite RPG. Maybe I'll do a video on it when it came out.
- The Joker somehow got a Golden Lion. Director Todd Howard wrote Borat, and directed the Hangover Trilogy. And now he won a Golden Lion. Now I'm really curious.
ABOUT LIFE:
- I'll be moving next month, so schedule may be affected. While I still intend on uploading, it's possible that I can only upload once.
- If that should happen, I'll suspense the Patreon for November, so that it will not charge you for a missing video.
- I'll also be watching Na Zha, the Chinese animation, in just a bit. There's a lot of excitement and positivity surrounding this film. A video about it is almost inevitable. Have you seen it? What do you think about it?
So that's all the progress so far, not much to update outside of Discord. I'll get back to work later today, and will probably on Discord for the whole night. So come join us and talk.
I'll see you this Thursday for another episode.
